David's Bridal

I went to David's Bridal in Northridge, CA and my bridal consultant was Jesslyn. David's Bridal was crazy busy with many brides and Jesslyn was working with me and another bride. Not once did she get frazzled and, in fact, she truly made me feel as if I was the only one there. She had a calm, comforting, attentive nature and created a fun yet personal environment for me. From the get-go, she understood my style and requirements for the perfect dress. I did find a dress that I liked but thereafter I saw another dress (on a website) that looked amazing so I contacted Jesslyn to let her know that I wanted to come back and try on this new dress but David's Bridal did not carry that designer. I so wanted Jesslyn to get the sale and to complete the bridal dress project with me as it's hard enough to find that perfect dress but when you really connect with the consultant you certainly want to do so from start to finish. Jesslyn was so lovely, supportive,sincere. She's definitely a treasure and David's Bridal is very lucky to have her on their team! more

So I have been to some low end salons but this takes the cake! The service was by far the worst I have ever received in a retail outlet. I arrived early for my 6 pm appointment and at 6:30 my consultant was still unavailable. I asked to look around and then was scolded for touching their cheap gowns which looked more like bad 80s prom dresses then anything any self-respecting bride would consider wearing to her wedding. I left due to the bade dresses and lack of personal service. As a bride to be there are thousands of things to do and I hope I am saving some bride out there time when I tell you do NOT go to Davids. I've been to four David's Bridals in two states and this was one of the best ones. Service was good, they were helpful and relatively fast every time I've been in. You can see all their dresses on the website, so you get a good idea before you go in what they have. It's a great place to start if you're looking at bridal dresses, cause they have a bit of everything so you can see what style works for you.
