Stopped o help a lady change her tire. She had no spare. I took the tire to Davids and told him that the lady had no money and had kids in van. She had no spare and just needed a plug in the tire to fix. He said he would give me a deal. I thought Cool! right! Got bill $30 fricking dollars!!! Are you for real?? I would not take or recomnend this con for jack! $30 for a .89 cent plug??? more

I was going to buy a 1998 Lexus from my Pastor. Even though he is my pastor does not mean he knows anything about cars, so I took it into David?s automotive to give it a look. My pastor lived in Frisco so he was close to The Colony location that David?s has ( he also has a location off of 35 in Dallas). The mechanic put the Lexus up on the rack and about 30 min later told me not to buy this car. It had terrible oil concerns inside of the engine and o9ther things you could not see, as a matter of fact this car had so many hidden problems that I handed the phone to the Mechanic to talk to my pastor ( car seller) to tell him directly why I could not buy this car. I take all of my vehicles to David?s Automotive ( usually in Dallas) and I have had a Ford Thunderbird, a Mazda Miata, a Nissan 350z and now a different Lexus. These two mechanic owned shops are honest, fair priced and very good on every make of car I have had. I highly recommend this auto shop for any of your car care needs. Thank you David?s automotive for saving me a lot of money on that Lexus I did not buy and the care you have given my new Lexus. You will always be my mechanic of choice! I went to David's Auto to get my car checked because it was making a knocking noise and wasn't quite steering correctly. The technicians at David's were very knowledgable and got my car fixed within the hour! They have such wonderful workers who care about their customers and not making money. I have been using David's Automotive for the last two years. I started going to them in Dallas, now to them in the Colony. I am always treated fairly, great repair work and their work is done in a timely manner. Their work also comes with a guarantee. I needed a repair facility that does it all. Major & minor repairs, inspections, oil changes----the whole ball of wax. I change my oil every 3,000 miles. They make sure on each oil change that my fluids are full and my tires are rotated. You gotta check this place out. my truck broke down and as many other single Mom (parents) would do i reached for the Yellow pages in attempt to obtain the cheapest estamate possible. i was met W/ much opposition as far as schedualing. Financing.and an overrall apathetic attitude from the most of the Establishments i Sought help from them. however all this changed when I stepped into David's Automotive i was greeted by a courtious knowegable staff that actually cares about the little guy. I shopped around the remainder of that afternoon but my desision had already been made. being mechanicly inclined my self i was sure that i was not only shopping for the greatest deals but also quality work. EVER HEARD OF HAVING YOUR CAKE AND EATTING IT TO? Well now you have I'm Raising 2 kids on my own and i already know that you can relate to the fact that 1. Nightmare, honestly dont know how they are still in business. Please be advised I am a business owner my self and have never seen such bad service come from an auto service company! I can not speak for everyone but I will say that they took our truck in for service and said they could do a job on the air conditioning unit and lied about having even the proper equipment to do the job. Comming from a family of mechanics dont go here ever! Not only did David not only use vaulger language towards my family but also fired the person who did the work on the truck and said that if we had a problem with the work done take it up with the person he fired! If anyone has any questions about this all you have to do is look at there shop and see all the EPA regulations these people are breaking to get an idea! Dont take my word for it go there and look! I was introduced to this great body shop and auto mechanic , auto repair shop in the colony from their first location in Dallas. David at David?s auto mechanic and auto body repair and paint oversees all repairs and makes sure it is done right the first time. He offers a 3 year and 36,000 mile warranty on most of his work and is one of the most honest auto repair shops I know of. If you are looking to get auto repair, body work, auto check up, tire rotation, oil change, AC flush, radiator replacement, auto paint, break repair, break jobs, transmission work, fuel emissions check, or just need to know what that clinking sound is. He has two locations and offers owner financing on most work as well. His wife also oversees both locations, so ladies, there is a good woman behind this honest auto repair shop in the colony AND in Dallas. Finally a auto mechanic you can trust. Pros: Honest more
