Before Gap and Levi's stores it used to be that kids bought their jeans in surplus stores. Dave's New York is a throw back selling surplus, jeans and industrial clothes. If Carharrt and Columbia brands with their long breakin period are for you then so is Dave's. Oh yeah, did I mention that they have a habit of discounting what they sell. more

For years, Dave's has been doing one thing right--selling jeans and work clothes of high quality at low prices. This may be the least pretentious and most proletarian store in Manhattan. You cannot beat their prices and you will leave with excatly what you came looking for. Dave's is easy to miss, so pay attention on when walking on the west side of 6th avenue! more
