The parts department in the lower level of the store is outstanding and the people behind the service counter absolutely know their stuff.

I find that they have a great selection of hard to find parts and decent prices. I have a big problem with a 2 week no refund only store credit return policy. I think a refund opt...

TV is working great 8/3/2011

Ordered an LG HDTV on November 2nd through Amazon.com. TV was delivered via UPS on November 8th. TV was brand new in the original box, all items were included and there was no damage. TV is working great. Absolutely no problems with this seller. more

Just got an ipad. Apple only had a few cases, but datavision had a great selection. Joey the mgr helped me find what I needed , I'll surely be back. more

Excellent Customer Service I walked in to buy a notebook and was helped right away by a very knowledgeable salesperson and took care of me every way possible. Great Store! THERES ALWAYS GREAT AND HELPFUL STAFF ALL AROUND THE STORE WILLING TO ASSIST AND GIVE ADVICE. I LOVE THIS STORE FROM THE WELCOMING AT THE DOOR TO THE HAVE A NICE DAY AT THE REGISTERS. REAL New Yorkers 7/21/2011

The only place in NY I've been buying all of my computers, cameras and other electronic equipment from DataVision for years, both for my company and for my family. Hands down, they're the best in Manhattan at educating you on your options and customizing purchases with your actual needs. Not to mention, they're REAL New Yorkers, so it's a fun experience working with them. more

Totally satisfied with this transaction 7/20/2011

I purchased a Generation 5 16GB iPod nano listed by DataVision through Buy.com. After reviewing Datavision on ResellerRatings.com I was reluctant to continue the transaction. But the purchase transaction is channeled through Buy.com and their Buy.com Marketplace Guarantee protects the purchase up to $750.00. It was a safe risk. The price was the best that I could find on the web. The purchase process was flawless. I received an order and shipping confirmation with tracking number the next day. I received the item on time. Very nice prices 7/15/2011

There is a nice section of this store dedicated only to computers parts, accessories and components... including rare to find cables... They have a very nice price for most of the things there, but cable prices are almost unbeatable (good cable, not rip off...) Not only computer cables but also HDMI , RCA style cables or fiber optic cables, they have all kind and formats at the best pprice around... For IT's do-it-your self this is a nice off shelf store as they also offer a great assortment of tools... No need to wait for the internet orders... more

I shop at this store fo all of my electronic needs, and have built relationships with many of the helpfull salse people there. Let me start by saying the salesman absolutely DO NOT work on comission. So Pete Im sorry to tell you that you were incorrect on that, I have never had an issur as far as getting the wrong product from them either. So to the person who got a 2 gen i touch the reson im sure is because the 3rd gen touch only is for the larger gig moddled which could easilly be confirmed by going to apples websight. Im sure you bought a smaller gig touch which is why your replacement part didnt workm maybe you should do a little research 1 before purchasing and 2 certantly before writing incorrect slander about a store that I happen to know is one of the best in new york. Its clean, competitively priced, and offers more options for each type of product in orderto fufill the needs of each consumer and at each price range. This is a great store and i highly reccomend it if your ineed of electronis in midtown NY, or online. more

I think Datavision is a very good and convenient store. The store has a wide variety of electronics. They have a new very nice home theater section on the second floor. When ever they have deals they beat anybody else that i saw. They have great black Friday deals for all products. Great store and looking forward to buy again from them. more

Called them, salesman on the phone gave me a solution that cost me ZERO dollars rather than the $60 worth of components I was about to buy. There's nothing like a knowledgable salesperson who can troubleshoot a problem rather than just sell you what you thought you needed. more

Excellent customer service 5/31/2011

I have been purchasing from this midtown NYC store for many years and they never disappoint. The usually have everything in stock with substitute products that are equally as good as the original OEM products. The manager, Joey takes a personal interest in making sure that I am well taken care of. He is good at building long standing relationships with customers that I think leads to a lot of repeat business for him. The store is organized and laid out well and it is easy to find what you are looking for. I would highly recommend this store and it's staff to anyone that wants good pricing and excellent customer service.? more

Datavision has been an establishment on 5th avenue for almost 20 years and i have been shopping there for all my electronic needs since they opened. The salespeople are extremly helpful and very well informed, and manager Joey Suede really knows hows to run the store with professionalism and courtesy for the customers. I'm datavision customer for 12 years, Buying from PC. Notebooks ,Audio Video equipemeent. All I can say is that I'm very pleased with customer service, equipements. I get more what any other store can provide on helping shoosing the product that fit my projects. the product are very compettive prices and high ends that its hard to get on known big chaine electronics stores. Even if the store that not carry the particular item, they ordered and call me to come pick up. Other electronics chaine should take Datavision as example on how to handle and create and mange good customer relation. I feel I have all firends over there.? more

Their customer service is excellent!! Their customer service is great! When I went to seek for technical support for my laptop, the clerks downstairs are all have patience and polite.They treat me very well especially the ASUS engineer Mr.Yung. He always have smile and willing to answer all our question. If you need technical support for laptop, they are definitely the best choice! more
