Save yourself time, stress, and money find any other realtor. We signed with Darrell to sell our home in March. The first time we met him was the only time we saw him over 7 months. We had an initial offer and he totally dropped the ball. My husband got the deal back in play and that was only the first of many unheard of obstacles in our ordeal. He made huge promises upon meeting and immediately started falling short. He never provided us with our copy of the listing agreement, finally 7 months later his broker (who is his wife) emailed it. He let contracts expire without extensions requiring us to contact the buyer's realtor to update the information. He never had us sign the original contract until a week before we closed. He never went over any contracts with us and he checked boxes requiring us to pay fees that are almost exclusively the buyer's responsibility. He never explained anything. He was unavailable and unresponsive. At one point he actually told us that no one cares about you or your family and that's just the way it is. He never negotiated anything and when we'd tell him not to do something he would do it anyway. We went to see about firing him but due to the fragility of our deal were advised to stick with it and then take action once complete. I could go on for days about his lack of character, and incompetency. To be honest our deal was so close to falling apart after we had done what should have been buyer repairs per contract and that it was an as is sale that we would have financially been finished had we not seen it through. It seemed like he was working for the buyer. Do yourself a favor and find another realtor there are lots of good ones here, and he is not in that group.
