danny boys –the BEST pizzas, woogie bears, and breadsticks ever! 4/4/2006

Many years ago, there used to be a Danny Boys pizza across from St Edwards in Lakewood. It was there I had my first woogie bear and became a life-long fan. Then they were gone. One day, I came across a listing for a Danny Boys in Rocky River. I called them and asked if they served something called a Woogie Bear and they said yes!!! Like a calzone, it is the best bang for your buck and completely delicious! Go there on Sinatra night and get free breadsticks for answering an ol’ blue eyes trivia question. Place gets packed quickly – it’s tiny but well worth the wait! more

Great Pizza 8/18/2005

Good pizza, and very good garlic cheese bread. We have also liked their pasta entrees but can’t speak for the ribs. This place is always busy on weekends, but our trick is to order for takeaway. Danny Boy’s also has a limited delivery area, but there’s a new one in Avon so, if you live on the West side there’s a good chance they’ll deliver. more
