We bought our pool many years ago when our children were very small and I have to say the cost of building a pool made us a little hesitant. However we decided since we loved our house and were going to stay here for a very long time that it would be money well spent. We built the pool and are so glad we did. Not only our children but our entire family have enjoyed the pool over the years. Our kids not only learned to swim in our own backyard, but learned pool safety as well. What I like most about our pool is that is has a shallow end for the little kids and a deep end for diving and jumping. My kids were able to touch the bottom at a very early age. Benefits of having a pool would be: fun in your own backyard for the kids, great place to entertain friends and family, and enabling the children to learn to swim at an early age (which I feel is very important). I love Danna Pools ~ over the years I have experienced different pool companies and find Danna Pools has the most wonderful people to work with. They always respond to phone calls promptly and deal with problems in a timely manner. When they say they are going to be there…………..they’re there! Lets face it, when you have a built in pool, its best to have a professional looking over your shoulder to be there when you need help to keep it looking and working as beautiful as the day it was built. more

Highly Recommended\r Cost was a main consideration, but I had other hurdles like my neighbors (access to backyard) and the city.  Dan really did a nice job helping clear out the hurdles for us.\r It’s great.  We love it.  I’m a goof and lament not going bigger deeper, but I didn’t have the cash at the time so it’s really a mute point.  Its been very easy to run and maintain.  The auto cover has been a little problematic, but I’m glad we have it.  My gas bills are surprising low for keeping a pool at 89F.\r The concrete is great.  No worries about a liner with the labs, kids, drunk adults etc.  But I do wish it was a smooth as it was when installed.  Its already gotten pretty rough:( I liked the autovac, but I’ve been without it for a season.  (hint, hint) The autocover is easily the best feature.  It’s been a bit of work keeping it clean, but it retains heat very well and keeps the pool clean.  The slide is very popular with the kids and drunk adults.\r Its wonderful having a pool. The family loves it, including our labs.   The city pool is only a few blocks away but its cold, its crowded, has hours of operation, and no booze.  Our pool is never cold, rarely crowded, and has a floating cooler.  Its open a push of a button, ready to go. Its a destination – We haven’t gone on a summer vacation since the pool. That saves money!  Everyone just wants to come to our house. I like it – Every once in while its nice to spend cash on something you really enjoy.  I love going in after a long day working and relax.\r I just built my house in 2008.  I’ve dealt with many many contractors. Dan is easily the most responsive that I’ve dealt with.  He’s been great.  I highly recommend him.\r \r ~Gregg Bartosz\r Capital Equipment Exchange\r Business Manager more
