Janet Cripe is a true artisan. I am continually amazed at her creativity year after year. The dances are fresh and fun, and any one who watches her dancers perform know the talent is due to the dance mistress. Janet mixes the right blend of structure with teaching. Any child or adult who has taken a class at her studio is a better person for it. \r \r Thanks, Dance Creations Dance Studio, for touching so many lives. Dance Creations 9/9/2005

Dance Creations is an award winning dance studio. They offer jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap dancing, pointe, and gymnastics. They offer their service to beginners or the advanced and they offer morning and night classes to fit almost everyone's schedule. They have early childhood programs and special classes just for boys. They even have a wonderful music program. more

  • Dance Creations Dance Studio in Springfield, IL, is a full-service dance instruction studio offering a wide variety of dance instruction to dancers aged 2 through 102. Founded in 1991 by Janet Cripe, we specialize in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, and gymnastics.

    Our family oriented staff strives to create an environment that promotes a sense of accomplishment and self-worth in every student. We pride ourselves in providing our students with a quality dance education. It is our belief that by giving our students the best, we will instill a love and appreciation for the art of dance.

  • Toddler through early childhood (ages 1 - 6)

  • Intermediate/advanced level

  • Competition team

    Our annual spring performance is designed to encourage students to showcase their talents for family and friends. Our competition teams have won numerous awards in national and international events!
