good candy-bad service 3/10/2008

The candy is very good. However, the help needs to be more professional and appreciative of their customers. I have visited the store on numerous occassions and been treated rudely. Even after trying to invoke kindness by my own kindness, I felt as if I disrupted the day of the person serving me. more

I drive the 90 miles from Dover, DE to Swedesboro, NJ 3-4 times a year, to buy Damask Chocolates, for myself, family, coworkers, and business associates. My trips are always eagerly anticipated and appreciated by the recipients. The milk chocolate crackers are amazing! I always grab a box or two of turtles for my assistant, and some milk chocolate pretzels for Gary's Butter-Pretzel Ice Cream (my own creation). Pros: Family owned, easy to find from NJ Turnpike or I-295. Cons: 90 miles from home, but well worth the drive. more
