Years ago I had purchased a Rolex Chronograph watch from a friend who had lost his job and needed to raise cash. I told him he could buy it back for the same price at any time within two years. I guess you could call it a secured, no interest loan. Well ten years have past and I have not seen or heard from him. It was my turn to need cash so I brought the watch to DA Buyers. I was floored by the offer they made. Well, if my friend should come back I will pay him for his watch over and above the what I gave him. What’s fair is fair. I do have a conscience. more

They had a great reputation. 4/8/2011

When my friends Aunt passed away my friend was named executor and had to liquidate the estate. There was a top dresser drawer that was filled with all types of jewelry both fine and costume that spanned decades. I told her not to rule out costume jewelry as being of value. I suggested that she bring the whole lot to DA Buyers in the heart of the diamond district as they had a great reputation. She literally took the drawer out of the dresser, wrapped it in a big plastic bag and tossed it into her car and off we went to Manhattan. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very friendly staff. The appraiser carefully examined each piece one by one and finally, after an hour or so made an offer of $9250.00! I thought my friend was going to pass out. Instead she bought me a drink at the W Hotel. more

Pretty glasses. 4/4/2011

To me they were just a set of pretty glasses and a pitcher but to my next door neighbor they were the most awesome thing she had ever seen. I asked her if she wanted them but she told me that I should sell them if they did not have any sentimental value. They didn’t. I found them in a box in the basement when we were cleaning out an old house that we bought as an investment property. I thought the set was pretty but very old fashioned with its pink frilly pitcher with the white spots and matching tumblers. I decided to take the set to DA Buyers as my neighbor had sold some items there. They said it was old cranberry coin spot glass and they paid 450.00 for it. I must find a way to thank my neighbor for her good eye. more

Not a hard decision to make. 3/29/2011

It was just a gold chain that was used to hold a watch years ago from what I was told. It looked like gold but it was not marked anywhere that I could see. I brought it to DA Buyers for an appraisal and to possibly sell it. They offered me 1750.00 for it. Not a hard decision to make. I got it for free from my house when I was a kid and used to play with it. Now I can buy as much better toy or something. more

I brought to Jewelry, Watches, Antiques, Gold Buyers and Appraisers my grandma’s diamond ring to get appraisal and sell it. The appraiser told me everything about quality, color, size etc. of stone. They gave me surprisingly good price in cash for the ring. WOW! Great staff, great service, great money!!! more

I believe that Jewelry, Watches, Antiques, Gold Buyers and Appraisers are the jewelers who are hungry to buy anything of value. I remember that when I sold them my ring, they asked me if I have any collectibles, silver or platinum. I came back next day with some more staff and they took it all from me for a generous reward. Besides being honest businessmen, they are also very nice people! more

Highly recommended jewelry buyers 5/10/2010

Hones appraisers 4/12/2010

D.A. Buyers turned out to be very honest appraisers. It was my fifth jeweler for the day when I went to them. I just wanted to get the highest possible price for my silverware and I got it here. If you need real jewelry experts, go to them. more
