D Salon

I went to the Purple Cow because my stylist left and that salon turned into a different experience. I loved the name. I loved them. The floor is incredible! The walls are all different and fun! My appointment was with Jennifer. She is the owner. She made me feel so great and it was really enjoyable. She talked with me and asked me a lot of questions. She knew I was ready for a change. She gave me the cutest short haircut. It was so cute! I didn't think I could style it like she did so she took the time to teach me how. I left and a few days later I stopped in because I couldn't style it. She asked me to show her what I was doing in the morning. I did. She showed me by making me do it and correcting me when it I went the wrong way. I knew then I had found my salon. I will never go anywhere else. Ok, about 4 years ago while preggers with my first child I cut all of my hair off...like 12 inches or so. I was so chopped up because I let someone other than my childhood stylist cut my hair because I knew they wouldn't cut my hair on a whim. Well, I was misrable until I found Jennifer (Owner). She helped me grow my hair back out and gave me many very cute cuts over the last 3 years. One day she wasn't there and I decided to go out of my comfort zone and let someone new cut me...that would be Johnna. She was awesome too! She became my stylist and Jennifer wasn't upset at all. johnna doesn't feel comfortable with children so Jennifer does my kids and she is the best with them. These two are the nations best kept secret hairstylists. They don't gossip, they care about the client, they want you to be 110% happy and they genuinely do care. Every year for the past 4 years I have been mailed a Christmas card with a personalized note to me and only me telling me how special of a client i am. Both of my toddlers are adored there as well and that is a perk for me. I was just there today and Jennifer cut me and 6 weeks ago Johnna did. They are awesome as all the girls are in there...I just have so much history with Jennifer and Johnna that they are the only ones for me. You must visit this very ""Purple"" Salon and prepare to be treated like royalty because thats what will happen. I was referred by one of the girls I work with to this salon. I love it. Johnna was my stylist! She does such good color. She really listened to me and picked out the colors she thought looked best on me. It looked so good. She was quiet, but attentive. I've been to several salon in Rincon and this one just went out of their way to make me feel welcome.The salon was so clean. I will definately be back. Cute salon. I went to this place because my neighbor recommended it. The Salon is really cool looking. Everyone was so nice. I went somewhere else to have my hair colored and it was ruined. The owner fixed it for me. She gave me a few different colors to try to blend these serious stripes I had. When she was done it was beautiful. I work with the public and need to look good. She was great. She was so nice and fun. Someone else said they were expensive, but I don't think so at all. I used to go to Savannah to get my hair colored and they are less than what I did pay there. I had so much fun I can't wait to go back. One drawback was that my friend said they don't like kids running around in there, but it looked like they enjoyed kids. The receptionist set up an area just for kids to play and brought them toys. There was one stylist I didn't like one bit and her name was Mike or Michael. She was ridiculously opinionated. But mainly the experience was yummy and I will continue to go back. The hair stylists ther are so nice and genuine. They really care about you and if you like your cut or dye. They are pricey, but I am willing to pay for an excellent cut. They are a fun group too. They are always smiling and laughing and most of all they disourage gossiping. The salon is the cutest I have ever seen. You need to try them out. Pros: SKilled, Cool decor, Fun Cons: Pricey more
