Currents is a lovely little Mission District shop that has a great selection of handmade and fun soaps, yummy lotions and candles, quirky stationary and journals, smiley-faced toothbrush holders (I have two -- one for home and one for my boyfriend's place -- they rock!). If you need a fun, unique baby gift for a friend -- check this place out. Fun baby bath stuff, slippers, books and other goodies.
The shop is small and cozy, but don't miss out on the back room (up the stairs past the register) where they have an amazing selection of Japanese-themed jewlery boxes, bento boxes, sake sets and sushi accessories.
Ask for a Currents frequent buyer card when you check out and your purchases can earn free candles and other fun treats.
