Great auto care service 3/1/2012

Took my car in for service at Culver Automotive for the first time and have nothing but good things to say about Dimitry Kamar and the level of work provided. They did a Service A on my C230K and replaced brakes, rotors, sensors. Dimitry phoned me multiple times during the day with updates and dropped me off / picked me up at work. He even called the next day to make sure everything was working properly - then I got a thank you note in the mail. The guys more than took care of me and I will be using them for all my service in the future. more

They are the most kind hearted people, as a mechanic, I have met in a long time. Great service. 2/15/2012

My issue is that some places close early. One time my car broke down and Dimitry kept his guys at the office late so AAA could tow my car to their shop. They kept it over night and worked on it the next day. I am a dialysis patient and he gave me a car the next day so I could get to my appointment. I told all my friends about them. Tire Purchase 1/12/2012

Unprofessional and deceptive 12/22/2011

I called today to use my Groupon. The individual that answered the phone was not professional. And most frustrating of all they wanted to charge me an extra $10 for my oil change because the classify my 23 year old volvo station wagon as a luxury car. RESPONSE FROM Culver Automotive: Mike, Thank you very much for bringing this matter to my attention. We pride ourselves in being honest and up front, obviously with you we failed. I can understand how you feel that a 23-year-old car should not be classified as a luxury car. I wish I could convince our suppliers and manufactures of this, that is why we ask that you call us so that we can give you the estimate up front before any work is done. I would like to bring you back as a customer, whatever it takes, and I am sure once we meet we will become good friends like the many friends that we have made through all of our years in business. The easiest experience I've had. 12/14/2011

My experience with Culver Automotive was amazing! It was so easy, definitely the easiest experience I've had. They delivered a rental car, which was wonderful, because that is normally the hardest part, yet they made it so simple. I didn't have to do anything, they did all the work for me. They brought me my car too, making it even easier for me. It took only a few days, as there wasn't any major work, so I wasn't even inconvenienced at all. more

I wish Dimitry and Culver Automotive all the best, and I will continue to recommend them. I have three cars, one of which I got from them, and I take them all there. If I'm going on a long trip, I'll just ask Dimitry to just look it over, because all my cars have 150,000 miles or more on them and the last thing I want is to be stranded. more

Great customer service and always willing to accommodate for their customers. 10/31/2011

I've used Culver Automotive for a few years. Someone in my office first referred me to them, and my experience was very favorable. They are always very helpful and accommodating with many things. They've been there to offer me rides to and from my office, they've been great in getting me a loner car if my car needs to stay there overnight, and they are so nice, that if I can't get there to pay and pick up my car, they'll stay after hours for me! Honest Customer Service 9/6/2011

So I simply took my car in for a smog check and failed miserably. There was something really wrong with my 2005 Mercedes and I had no idea until I was hooked up to the smog machine and given my results (I was in a gross pollution category). Dimitry Kamar was very helpful in my time of need, he volunteered to check out the car to find out the problem (they even put me in a loner car free of charge). I was called back early the next morning and told to take my car to a Mercedes dealership because I was covered under a warranty that I had no idea about. They were so correct, there was a recall on a part on my car and it cost me $0 to have the Mercedes dealership in Beverly Hills make $3,000 worth of repairs. I don't know what I would have done without Culver Tire and Automotive being honest, they went above and beyond. Thank you so much!!!! I will be back! JC more

It is the absolute best place in town! 5/17/2011

Culver Automotive is fantastic. I have been with Dimitry for about 10 to 15 years, and they are absolutely fantastic. Anytime I have a problem, they help me. I had an engine blow out, and they came and got me. There were times when I couldn't get my car running, and didn't have all the money to get it fixed, and he worked with me on payment plans. Dimitry has always been straight up about everything, and their prices are great. They never overcharge. He bends over backwards to make sure I am happy. The work is also really good quality. Alex, who works with Dimitry, is also fantastic, and they are all like a family. It is absolutely wonderful to work with them, and they cannot be beat. We just had some issues with our motor home, and it was in Redondo Beach. We couldn't bring it to Culver Automotive, and we got charge probably 6 times the amount we should have been. Culver Automotive really is straight across the board. They get everything done, and the prices they charge are absolutely reasonable, if not lower than every other place I have been. At Culver Automotive, customer service means a lot to Dimitry! 4/11/2011

I've been going to Culver Automotive for a number of years now. I've taken my car to Dimitry for normal servicing, but also I had him fix my fender, and when there was tree sap starting to eat away at the paint, I took it in to him for that too. I like that I can call him up and over the phone tell him what the problem is and he'll let me know how long it's going to take and what it will cost. And then it usually takes less time and he charges me exactly what he told me, so he's reliable and honest. I think his prices are very fair and he doesn't low ball customers just to get them in the door and then raise the prices on them. Dimitry knows what he's doing. I even took my car to him to fix a mess another shop had made and he was able to do it fairly and quickly for me. I appreciate that he always asks if I'll need a loner, even if it's for work that will be done that same day. Or he'll offer me a ride to and back from work, which not many shops will pick you up from work too. Service means a lot to him, I completely appreciate that. I have nothing but great things to say about Culver's. If you go there too, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about! I had my car at the dealer for regular service, they informed i needed schocks, could not believe thier prices, i know i am driving a German car but those prices were extreme. Talked to a friend, called you you gave me a great fair price, free loaner, washed my car, life is good thanks. more
