If you think this food is too spicy you must not like Indian food. the food is so Americanized it would be unrecognizable to a Indian person new to Columbus. the food was bland greasy and over priced. The place looks great the food is horrible. more

In spite of requesting repeatedly to make the food non-spicy, they must have dipped my food in chili powder. When I called back to report this, the cook said ""I am so sorry"" rather than offering to refund my money. NOT GOING THERE AGAIN, stay away from their Biriyani and Tikka Masala. more

I started coming to Cuisine of India last year. The staff is so friendly here! Especially the owner! But I think everyone knows who he is. The food is just amazing here! The food is not like your typical Indian food that you'll find at other Indian restaurants. It's truly unique! I love there Chicken Tikka Masala. I just love the gravy. I dine there frequently with my family. Usually the staff is very nice and service is good. This last time, I had an older waiter (never seen him before) who seemed bothered to even seat me and my 5 year old son (who loves tandorri chicken) and 9 YO dtr (who loves chicken korma). Never once did he refill our water, ask about or food, get me another glass of wine. The cook brought out the food and was very nice. I attempted to say something the woman at the counter who basically just said ""sorry"" and then preceded to walk around me to speak with a tabel of India patrons. Pros: Food Cons: Service more

I have been to Cuisine of India several times and it has become my favorite Indian restaurant in Columbus. The taste is much better than most other Indian restaurants in Columbus, and the service is quite good. But my favorite aspect of this place is the Wednesday Indian-Chinese buffet. It includes a mix of Punjabi dishes like malai kofta and Indian-Chinese foods like manchurian and spring rolls, along with samosa-chaat. The variety and quality of the buffet is unmatched. I highly recommend going there on a Wednesday evening and trying the buffet on your first visit. You'll get a good idea of the flavor and it will give you a chance to try many items on their menu. You can get better and tastier indian food at other restaurants , the chicken tikka masala has no taste , and only food colouring in it, and its not made with chicken tikka, just plain cooked chicken,and the owner has an attitude problem, would not reccomend this place. Cons: not good food more

We get carry out from here at least once every two weeks and have eaten there several times and have yet to have a bad meal. Excellent Chicken Tikka, samosa's, the mango chutney is amazing. Not only great food but run by super nice people, I have had 5 star service everytime I go. You never have to wait to have a glass refilled. You can tell other diners there are enjoying excellant service also. Cannot recommend highly enough. Pros: great food and service more

we tried lots of indian resturants but our fav. resturant is cuisine of india. we have been customers of this resturant ever since it opened 2 years ago! and now they are celebrating there 2nd anniversary! this resturant has food from all regions of the country like for instance, indochinnese, and south indian. one of my fav.entrees from the resturant are is the vindalo konkon which u can get in any kind if meat, and they also hav nice kebabs. i also like the vegetarian items like the paneer tawa masala. i just love the thick gravy and the lovely aroma. they also treat hte customers like ther own. whenever im out of somthing like my drink or any kind of food there will be at my table refilling it up before i even asked them too. in smaller words there service is excellent! i recommend you trying this resturant! more

there are no such words to explain how amzing cuisine of india's food is! it is ohio's most renowned indian resturant and it will always be! when i first went to bay leaf the decor is pretty, but that doesnt matter. . . i came there to eat the food and to see if it is good! but the food turned out ot be horrible, and the sevice pathetic! and the prices r just to high for all of the crappy food u will be getting! u will be wastin ur time by going to bay leaf! i fully recommend cuisine of india, because of its delictable food, its great service ( the waiters and servers are jusst tooo polite!) , the prices r reasonble and the owner of the resturant. . which u will meet at the resturant everytime if u go there! he will be there to greet u with a big smile on his face! yea it takes me 20 min to get there from where i live but its worth the time! i recommend u going there for any party celebration , for any date u have or if u just want to have a good service and with good food dinner with ur family or anyone else or any catering i hope u will choose cuisine of india in polaris! The lunch buffet is phenomenal! There are always a few staples that never change like Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala or Mahkni and usually Vegetable Korma. There are always two dessert options and soup. My only criticism is that the raita has become way too thick and needs to get back to how it used to be---predominantly yogurt with some potato and other ingredients. Or maybe just offer plain yogurt. I'd also like to see a coconut chutney, but that is just my personal taste. The owners and the wait staff are very attentive and courteous. I highly recommend Cuisine of India. Pros: The Chicken Tandoori rocks, the Dal is good, try everything! Cons: Not enough seats---it's busy because the food is so good! more

I've been going here since they first opened, and have never had anything but a favorable experience. Their staff and service are polite and quick to assist with anything the diner needs. The restaurant is very tastefully appointed, the menu has lots of options, and the prices are reasonable. The biryani and lamb are especially good here. more
