Getting a quote for stone flooring 11/13/2011

Crowbar was recommended thru Service Magic. I wanted the ceramic floor in my home entry, and two upstairs baths replaced with marble flooring. Scott cam to my house to do an estimate, took the information, and promised a quotation. After over two weeks, I had not gotten a quote, so I called. Scot said he had sent it. I had not gotten anything by either email or paper mail. Scott promised to send a quote as soon as he got to the offic. Again, I received NOTHING. I hired someone else and will not do business with crowbar. more

A+ Customer Service and Workmanship 8/31/2011

I needed my chimney tuck pointed and contacted several companies. The first gave me a quote from the ground, the second used a ladder but didn’t step onto the roof and then finally there was Crowbar Construction. Scott, the owner, actually took before and after pictures of the chimney which is a definite plus since I wasn’t about to get up on the roof. His crew was polite and completed the job as promised. Crowbar did such a terrific job that both of my neighbors hired them too. The first had his chimney tuck pointed and the other neighbor had a rotted dormer roof replaced. I would highly recommend Crowbar Construction for all your Construction needs. Communication was great and the proposal was professional unlike the hand written one that I received from another company. I’m using Crowbar to remodel my bathroom this fall. I’ll keep you posted. more

Professional, Prompt, and Priced Right! 6/3/2011

Crowbar is the Best in the business and Masters of the trade. Scott is a hands-on owner and monitors every step of the project. He is truly knowledgeable and creative. His artistic design was apparent in solving the problem of replacing front steps to our residence. Part of the challenge also involved moving gigantic boulders which were to remain part of the landscape. The results were beautiful steps in an L-shaped, double landing, leading to our front door. In addition to being true artisans, his workers were prompt, courteous, and finished ahead of schedule. The price was right and we will definitely recommend Scott and his team for anyone's renovation and maintenance projects! more

Very Poor Customer Service 5/25/2011

I agree with James. I delt with the owner Scott and he has no customer service skills at all. I had an appointment for a sprinkler install quote and he never showed up for the appointment. There was a bit of a mix up on the appointment. He supposedly double booked my appointment. I was a little sarcastic with him in an email because I was upset he never showed for appointment. He refused to even do the job at all after I apologized to him. Hey if you can't keep your customer appointments straight then how reliable is your business anyway??? He may have lost a potentially 5000 dollar job. His loss. I would strongly stay away from this company. more

Poor service, very bad customer service 2/15/2011

After reading positive review, I chose this company. However, now I seriously question these positive reviews. I would give zero stars is applicable. He and his team did a mediocre job, but considering the price I would rate closer to a poor job. More alarmingly though, at first, he seemed polite and profession, but when I informed him I was unsatisfied with the work, he became very unprofessional. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. more

The Best of the Best 2/9/2011

Crowbar Constructions' office responded immediately. The office personal was top-notch and was very helpful and knowledgable with the questions I had. The owner works with his crew and showed up right on time. We where having leaking into our basement after a fast thaw. They found where the leaking was, injected the holes with something and all's been great ever since. Thank you Crowbar for giving me my basement back. more

Excellent Service and Pricing! 7/24/2009

I called Crowbar Construction when my air conditioning system wasn't holding a charge. They were very knowledgeable and explained to me that it was the right time to convert to a new Puron System since my current unit was 18 years old and would have cost me $600.00 in repairs. It was much more economical and "greener" to convert at this time. The outside unit is really quiet and my home stays nice and cool on hot days. I thought it was going to be much more money than it was and the guys were really nice! I will continue to use Crowbar Construction to manage all of my home repairs! Thanks, guys!
