A gym that cares! 12/9/2011

As the owner of a different CrossFit gym in town, I am very impressed with the quality programming at Evolution Training. The CrossFit program at Evolution Training (along with all of the programs there) is run efficiently, effectively, and in a very fun & personable manner. Trainers take the time to learn about each client and his or her needs, and are great at encouraging and motivating people. You will not only get fitter, but learn more about fitness and meet some fun people in the process. ""Waffle"" and his trainers have created an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere in the gym that makes it easy for people to walk in and actually enjoy achieving their fitness goals. I definitely recommend this gym! more

Jiu-Jitsu, CrossFit, & Martial Arts from amateur to pro! 11/25/2011

The owner and head instructor, Ernest Ellender, PhD, has been training in the martial arts for over 12 years and got into CrossFit in 2003. He trained for over two years directly under Coach Greg Glassman, Eva Twardokens, Greg Almundson, Robb Wolf and other originators of CrossFit. Because Ernest, or ""Waffle"", was training Jiu Jitsu heavily at the same time, he has a thorough understanding of how to use CrossFit either as an individual's sole form of exercise or to supplement one's specific sport (Triathlons, Soccer, Football, MMA, etc). The CrossFit program, housed in Evolution Training's spectacular 4800 square foot facility, is first class all the way with its private bathrooms (with showers), multi-media centers (upstairs and down), and numerous certified CrossFit instructors. Whether you are interested in getting started in CrossFit or in supplementing your sports conditioning, you can walk into Evolution Training and know that you will be in good hands.
