Derrek Milo Pickett (a.k.a user ""Davey J."" a.k.a. ""Rick J."" on this site and other sites) is an ex-employee who worked for us for 11 days. He was fired for trying to start a physical fight with his supervisor. He was also angry with us because we would not pay him under the table so that he could avoid child support garnishments. He was paid in full. We have documentation that proves this. Derrek repeatedly tried to get rehired by us. We said no. He became angrier. He then turned to harassing us by email and phone demanding that we pay him 2 years of pay and rehire him. He has told us that he will not stop harassing us, unless we pay. On moral principal, we will not give in to this extortion and as a consequence Mr. Pickett has taken to the internet to attack us and make false statements about our company. He has posted this and similar comments under various names online. In response to his numerous calls and vulgar emails threatening us, we have opened a criminal harassment case with the local police department against Mr. Pickett. Interestingly, some of his early emails to us included cussing at us, threatening us and telling us how great of a company we are and how he just wants to work for us again all in the same email. Here is a tip for you Mr. Pickett, verbally accosting people and trying to extort money from them is not an effective job hunting strategy and threatening and gesturing to beat up your supervisor is not a good way to keep a job! Respectfully, James Cross Jr. Office Manager, Cross Marine Projects more

I would Have to agree with the previous reviewer, I too have been dealing with issues with this company. Im not one to speak ill of other companies, But when i saw this (and there are more on other sites) scathing review, I had to Laugh, but at the same time, feel compelled to comment as well. \r \r This is one of the most unprofessional and unsafe business's ive seen in the Commercial Diving industry in along time. Ive been dealing with Divers, and Dive Companies for about 15 years now, and these guys rank at the bottom for-sure. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this company, My company had to deal with pay issues, Contract issues, ect. The owner is extremely paranoid and the employees were not even Commercial Divers, They were Temporary workers from a Temporary Agency. \r \r Like the other reviewer said, There are other companies in the area, Potable Divers is a good one, Applied Diving is another one. There is Midco Marine, Inland Potable Services is ok, Associated Diving & Marine (if you can get a hold of anybody) is another ok company. All of these guys do water tanks, bridges and Dam work. Just check your options i would say, Maybe even do it yourself before contacting ""Double"" Cross Marine Projects (as known in the industry) for anything. more

recently had business with Cross Marine Projects Consulting. Its been a year now, and i am still battling with these guys. This is a classic case of the "" if i only new then, what i know now"" blues. The only thing this company is going to consult you on, Is how to your money out of your pocket, and put it into theirs. The employees are 3rd rate at best, The owner, is completely paranoid and when we tried to collect the payments and monies owed, they immediately turned to lawyers and called the police on us, i was totally shocked that a company of this stature would pull this kind of behavior. So later, through other companies that do this same line of work (and are much more professional) have told me that Cross Marine is known in the industry as ""Double Cross Marine Projects and Consulting"" Other companies in the area Midco Marine, Potable Divers, Inland Potable Services Inc. Applied Diving Services. I wish someone would have written this review before i got involved with what I too will now call Double Cross Marine. I would avoid this company at all cost. You really do get what you pay for!!!! more
