Horrible experience, and how rude David Crooks was when I confronted him on the phone! When my elderly parents called for an estimate to simply install a faucet, they were told the rate was 100 per hour plus a service fee. The plumber was at my parents home for 45 minutes. The bill was 271.00! He charged them 2 hours rate at 110 plus 45.00 service fee plus 10 dollars parts. TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY ONE DOLLARS to install a faucet I could have done in under an hour myself. What a ripoff!!!!!! And totally rude, he called me ""a coward behind a computer"" when I told him I was going to write a review. more

The name fits!! 11/6/2011

The name does definately fit. I called to speak with a plumber about an issue I was having . There was no tech at the office and was informed I would receive a call back when one arrived. They sent a plumber to my house without my request and charged me anyway! I contacted the owner DAVID CROOKS and expressed my feelings and he was very rude and unwilling to resolve the issue. Referring to Mr as son and not willing to meet in the middle on any of the charges. Highly recomend not using this company. Over charge and unsympathetic. The name fits!!! more

Had a very unpleasent experience with this company. I was overcharged and when speaking to the owner "David Crooks" about it, he was very rude and unwilling to try and resolve the issue. I was referred to as "son" and called a liar by the owner. Would not recommend using this company. Have saw other bad reviews on other sites as well. I am not the first to have a bad experience with the owner. The employee sent out to do the work was very diligent and professional. Honest and fast 11/29/2005

Don't let the name fool you. Crooks Plumbing and Electrical is an honest, very good company. Two of our toilets backed up and we needed a plumber desperately. We called them and they sent a guy over in a couple of hours. We were charged the quoted price and he had things working normally again. Very pleasant employees. more
