Anne has been doin me for many years and I got my partner to switch...She is awsome and so wonderful. She conveys the friendliness that I have lacked in past hair cutters. Anne is the kind of person that you would want to be cutting your hair and a friend to boot...My partner changed cutters a couple times and then always comes back to Anne. I've lived in Atlanta for four years now and have tried many different places for a haircut. Crimpers is the best! The people are very knowledgeable and always make sure that you leave completely satisfied. I normally get my haircut from James. He is very relaxed, does a thorough job, and makes sure to fully understand exactly how you want your hair to look. He also has lots of experience in the industry and attends conventions often to keep up his skill set. I would highly recommend James for a haircut! more

I recently moved to Atlanta and read about crimpers on City search, so decided to try it out. Nicholas was my stylist and he did a wonderful job. I love the layers he put in my hair. This haircut has been so easy to do by myself and looks great even if i dont have time to really fix it. I really liked the environment of the salon too...great house music and interesting people- exactly what i expected and hoped for in midtown Atlanta. After watching some of the coloring techniques going on there, I am thinking about returning soon for some highlights. Great place for men and women! Pros: great cut, great environment, great price Cons: took a little longer than expected, but it was worth it! more

oh my gosh i went into crimpers to get my hair cut and colored and wow did i get more than i was expecting. not only was the atmosphere really warm and inviting but oh my gosh they hooked me up with a really cool chick name heather, she was really kind and friendly and i felt completely comfortable the min i sat down in her chair. not only did she take the time to make sure that she understood what i wanted, she went into detail to explain to me exactly how she would complete each step. after about an hour and half she handed me her mirror and wow.... i couldnt believe how great that i looked...i have never had anyone hook me up the way that she did....i felt so good when i left crimpers that day and i will definitley not only be going back to crimpers but i will also send all of my friends and make sure that they ask for heather..... Sorry to hear bout your last visit dude. Last time I went they weren't even set up to shampoo hair cuz of renovations BUT.... that time was the best cut I got and she's the reason I'm going back today. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Great location. Nice drive out there. Dunno who wore the cutoffs but next time go see Elina. p.s... she's also a Mortgage Banker. hehehe ROCK ON CRIMPERS!!!! The last visit on Aug 26 was terrible. The stylist was wearing camouflage cutoffs and a Tshirt with tennis shoes and no socks. He cut through my hair with clippers very quickly, dropped his scissors, then retrieved them from the floor and began cutting again. At the sink he did not put a towel down, ran some water through my hair, dried it quickly and walk off. My hair was still dripping and one of the other stylist (who does a great job by the way) was kind enough to get me another towel. He never showed me the back and took my money and never gave me a receipt. I noticed several spots on my head that he had missed, including the neck line. I would not recommened the stylist in the cutoffs and tennis shoes but everyone else at Crimpers does a great job. more

I moved to atlanta in july of 1999. for a year and a half i went to lots of different places, always having to tell them 50000 things to do when they cut my hair, well one day my friend told me about crimpers on monroe (ansley area). i went, a guy named lee cut my hair. in 20 minutes he did what took everyone else 40-50 minutes and he did it perfect. needless to say, i still go every 3-4 weeks and lee does a perfect job. Pros: great job!, great people! Cons: none! more

People love to laugh at me when I tell them I get my hair cut at Crimpers. Alas, the joke is on them. Why pay $25 or $30 for a simple men's haircut when you can get a perfectly good do here for half the price. A little Midtown flava makes the trip even better -- I can always count on great conversations with the stylists. Pros: Cheap, Good stylists, Good Midtown location more
