Crescent Moon Live Restaurant & Bar

My husband have been a couple of times with friends and BOTH time we had an amazing evening. We weren't overly impressed with the menu, and the duck/fig pizza was... well... interesting. But, the music was REALLY good and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am NOT a wine drinker. Or I didn't think I was until one of the waiters came by and asked me what I DIDN'T like about wine and brought me a glass that was the exact opposite of that and I LOVED it. So far we have seen The Pee Wee Bowen band and The Fantastics and both were just amazing. We may have been the youngest couple there at 30 but we LIKE that it's mostly older people. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the only silliness going on is the good kind. We will definitely be back again and again! We will just most likely eat BEFORE we go. lol. more

Arrived there and was seated at bar. Couldn't speak to bartender up close. There are bottels of wine between you and them. It was very noisy and ordered a Pino Gricio and XX beer for husand. Stayed there 4 hours and bill was $111.oo. My wine was 13.50 ea. and his beer was 5.00 ea. Way too much for a hole-in-the wall bar. We did enjoy the live music and came there for the band, but didn't like being over charged and felt like we were taken advantaged of. So take my advice...ask how muck before ordering there!! This is the spot whether you want a cozy, intimate setting or a lively group gathering. Their wine selection is extensive and reasonably priced in comparison to some places in The Woodlands. Wednesday nights they have a tasty filet mignon or salmon dinner special plus they also have live music. Pros: reasonably priced wines more

Place was amazing and fun. Very comfortable for any age, group or event. Staff very friendly and the music was great. more

I loved the place. Nice and cozy. Good food. I've been there a few times but the last few times a new bartender girl with a pockmarked zit face and saggy eyes keeps staring at my husband. So, until they get rid of skeletor I am not going back! more

My husband planned a date night for us and wondering were in The Woodlands we should go, he surprised me with Crescent Moon Wine Bar! We enjoyed the food, good wine and even danced! The Live music was very entertaining. I recommend this place for anyone; group of friends, first Date and especially for a well deserved Date Night. A nice surprise awaits you when you go into this wine bar, from outside it doesn't look like anything special....but, wow when you walk through those doors! It is a great location, with a friendly staff and what a magnificent interior! Beautiful!! The live bands are a great addition as well! Pros: EVERYTHING! more

I was recently up around the Spring/Woodlands area and happened to stumble upon on of the most precious gems this city has to offer. From the moment I walked in the door I felt like I was in Tuscany!! Even though it's looks were right out of a European villa the atmosphere was extremely unpretentious and very relaxed. I was able to meet the owners/""the wine guy""/and the staff just looked like they were happy to be there. Not to mention they had a band playing that night and after a few flights of wine and cheese my friends and I were up dancing the night away. If you are ever around the Rayford/Sawdust area you have got to check this place out. You might have to look kind of hard because they don't have a sign up yet; which I think is pretty cool too! Pros: Plenty of Parking, Fantastic Wine List, Amazing Menu, Great Music, Great Service Cons: None to speak of more
