Crescent Cafe

A group of 12 of us from Seattle,WA went there for breakfast on Saturday May 5, 2012. Having heard of the popularity, we were there in line on the sidewalk early, and were the first to be seated. We were served drinks; water, coffee, soft drinks; but NO food. We waited for 1 hour before any food was served to any of our party. Meanwhile, others that came in were served and left and others seated, again before we received food. When the food finally arrived, some lame excuse was given about the size of the grill being small and not able to cook for the entire party. No one said we all had to be served together. Was the food good, Yes; was it worth the 1 hour wait and HIGH price, emphatically NO. Had my wife and I been by our selves, we would have left. We will not go back. more

We walked to this cute cafe from a local hotel on a Sunday morning. What a find! We were greeted by one of the owners and seated within 5 minutes. The food was amazing! I had an open faced omelet with cheese, jalepenos and ham. Oh, and the hashbrowns and this incredible toast - with molasses in it. Too much to eat but so good. My husband had homemade cocoa which made him get this silly dreamy look on his face... and apple-rhubarb coffee cake and oatmeal. We were both very impressed. McMinnville has some very fine restaurants these days. This one is outstanding. Pros: Homemade bread, menu selections, service, coffee Cons: Can't think of any more
