VERY rude owner/manager, and just ok food. Wish I had read some of the reviews before going here. Bought a gift certificate online and went for lunch yesterday, and showed the certificate before ordering. I was told it would be applied when we paid after the meal. The food was just ok, took forever to get to the table, and was overpriced, but at least we had the gift cert - or so I thought. When I went to pay, the owner said I couldn't use it on holidays (Mother's Day), although the certificate didn't say there was a limitation regarding holidays. I let him know I showed the certificate before ordering, and he simply yelled across the restuarant to his staff ""no Restaurant dot com certificates today"". I asked if he would apply it just this once since I was told beforehand I could use it, but he rudely said ""use it next time"" and pushed it back across the counter to me. I showed him where the certificate didn't say I couldn't use it on holidays, and that was one of the reasons I chose his restaurant that day, and he bluntly said ""well it should"". Just really rude about the whole thing, and I certainly won't go back. The food was just ok (very dry mahi and a small portion) and while the view is nice, there are tons of better restaurants around Jax that have nice waterfront dining, without a cocky owner/manager (just to name a few...Singleton's, Sand Dollar, Barbara Jean's, River City Brewing Co, Billy's Boathouse, Clark's Fish Camp, Outback Crab Shack). By the way, the Restaurant website refunded my money, so at least this jerk won't get me to come back to use that certificate. The high number of negative reviews on multiple websites I've found cannot be wrong -you're Crazy if you go to Crazy Fish!!
