Read the reviews, the real ones are atrocious or terrifying and the fake ones that are seemingly positive are diluted with whimsical wording that raises questions about the credibility of the reviewer. All-in-all Tatman's shop motto should read: "We guarantee our work and will probably have to work on your vehicle four or five times to get it right." Even so, my vehicle was mangled; Tatman's stood by the guarantee to fix the car yet hastily concluded the job with several major errors. After the third attempt to correct the injustices, even more damage resulted in places allegedly untouched by the shop. The shop tried to convince me that the error were present before the repair. A tail light that was not to be molested was found filled with moisture and the other of the same was loose enough to fall from the car should a bump be ahead. The point: Trust and service are two qualities that are lacking in many businesses these days; Tatman’s (all locations) seem to neglect quality in favor of more expensive, inferior repairs. I was referred to Tatman's Collision by my Insurance Company. They are listed as an Express body shop. I was involved in an accident on I 57 not of my own doings. Tatman's were authorized to do a temporary or full repair on my Chevy 2500HD, extensive rear end damage. It was a rear end collision and was severe enough to even affect the frame rails on my sweet truck. Unbelievably, the good people running the place told me that they could do me a complete permanent fix in 2 days. As I was en route to the Gulf Coast to rescue my daughter and 3 kids back to Upper Michigan. I agreed to go with the total repair and by golly they delivered. 47 hours after the traumatic and terrible expressway accident I was back on the road. I am completely and totally satisfied and a very happy Tatman's customer. I even made some new friends! These are good people. These are reputable people. These are professional skilled and talented people. I told my Insurance Company about this bad experience turned good. I am telling the world. Tatman's Collision is a class operation. You folks there in central Illinois are fortunate to have this Tatman Team at your disposal. more

After damage to my car door by wind and the paint being chipped, I took it to Tatmans. They did a wonderful job and you could never tell it had been chipped in the first place. The told me exactly what would be done and took care of it quickly including filing charges with insurance. I was so excited to see my car looking better than it had before. more
