Cowtown has been caught on video shocking poor horses with electric prods. FYI: ELECTrIC PRODS ARE CAPABLE OF PUTTING OUT 8000-10,000 VOLTS OF ELECTRICITY. I'd like to shock the sh*t out of Grant Harris (because his resemblance to a wrinkly gremlin just isn't punishment enough) for operating such a disgusting, and evil place. Good food, relaxed fun 2/8/2003

Cowtown is like no other place in this area. Definitely something worth going to! Not for the high-maintenance types. Pros: good parking, relaxed, fun Cons: porta-potties, long food lines, weather-dependent more

It's verrrry country if thats what you are looking for u got it here. the whole nine yards farmers and cowboys, horses and sheep its all here in one great big flea maket type area. its fun for the whole family. Pros: inexpensive, unique, interesting Cons: in the boonies, country folk everywhe, smells like cow poop more

Wow! Could not believe how much fun! 7/4/2002

I went to Cowtown Rodeo last year. I was not too excited to go ( I am not a Rodeo fan AT ALL) but was very suprised at how much fun I had. My friend and I made the trek down to South Jersey not knowing what to expect. Cowtown Rodeo felt like we were in the old Southwest, not South Jersey. The people were very friendly and the food was great (Funnel cakes & other down-home eats!) The rodeo riders are incredible (especially the bull riders). You could not pay me enough to do that! Cowtown is not a luxury getaway, but if you go with an open mind then you should have a blast. Pros: Cheap, friendly people, unique Cons: watch where you walk more
