Worth it. 1/11/2008

This was my first visit to Sedona. The Cowboy Club was recommended in many magazine and online reviews. I have to say it met all my expectations and more. Our food was delicious. I got ribs and they were to die for. The prickly pear margaritas were so good, we bought prickly pear syrup the next day to try to replicate it at home. I will return to this restaurant next time I am in Sedona. The service was great too. Pros: Nice atmosphere, great food, good service. more

Great buffalo flank, prickly pear margs 1/30/2007

A popular, friendly, casual place for great food and drinks. The menu offers a wide variety of appealing options including beef and buffalo steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken, and more. We sampled the cactus fries with black bean caramel, BBQ ribs, ancho chili rubbed buffalo flank steak with ancho spiced yams, and prickly pear margaritas. All were fantastic. The flank with yams was especially good. The cactus fries taste similar to fried green tomatoes, but are firmer with a stronger flavor. Shotguns, boots, and cowboy hats decorate the antique eatery. Pros: Great food, reasonable prices, good service. more

Just right 11/4/2006

Everything about this place was just right on the night. The service was impeccable, right from the complimentary starters to the temperature control (we found the outside heaters too warm, so they were promptly switched off). We were impressed with the attention to detail: the heft of the silvery menues, the freshest of flowers donning each table and infused fruit and liqueur butter to accompany the hot, fresh rolls. The main courses were exquisite, especially the pork chop (the brie, and apple/blueberry chutney made it) and the roast duck. Possibly the most wonderful aspect of the evening was the view of the red rocks at sunset. Definitely opt for outdoor seating when you visit this fantastic restaurant. Pros: too many to list more
