Upperwest Side BEST Kept Secret! 12/5/2010

Fabulous is all I can say....my husband and I have been coming here since they openned...and if anything they have only become more attentive w/ their service and more flavorful w/ their dishes. Everything on the menu is spectacular...HOWEVER - if u r unsure try the rack of lamb or the Clam Linguini...Unbelievable! If you are just in the mood for a cocktail...head upstairs ....eclectic is what comes to mind. Overall a wonderful place for any time of day...and a great spot for a party or pregramer .... more

Mangement is horrible I hope they don't lead by example 4/3/2009

Unfortunately for them the food is delish, but the service is horrible. The manager came to our table to discuss my dissatisfaction with the wine - and was disrespectful, argued with me, raised his voice AND rolled his eyes. Luca was his name and he was just awful. Pros: Diversity of foods - rabbit, boar and other interesting meat Cons: Management is horrible. Poor customer service more

Great Italian in Harlem 3/8/2009

The food and atmoshpere was great. Found by accident, was actually looking to eat at local Bar B Q place close by. That place had too long of wait. Driving around came across COVO. hidden on West 135th st. The Lasagna was so gggooooddd. Very friendly service. Plan to return when weather gets warmer, for the outdoor seating. Pros: Hidden gem in Harlem Cons: Find Parking on street near by. more

Mangia tutto in West Harlem 10/1/2008

Completely undiscovered spot on a side street with no traffic. It doesn't seem like Manhattan with the beautiful old staircase from Riverside Drive. We have been there for lunch, for dinner, with kids, without kids and the service is great! Friendly waiters and serve staff and the food is amazing. We tried everything from the brick oven pizza, fennel salad, ravioli, fettucini, and main courses. Pizza and ravioli were favorites but everything we ordered was great. There's many italian restaurants nearby that are either mediocre or overly expensive and mediocre, Covo is far from being either. more
