Cove Restaurant & Lounge

The Cove has gone through many transitions over the past few years but they have "bottomed out" this time.\r \r The venue is still fantastic but that is only because of the choice location on the Inter=coastal immediately south of the Hillsboro bridge. If you go there DO NOT order food because it is about as bad as you expect at any other want-to-be restaurant. Even though it is now part of Two Georges the food portions are tiny, the prices are too high and the quality is less than inferior. - Time to sell the place again. more

Nice place but not for eating stone crabs. My husband and I ordered them for lunch recently. We were told by our waitress that they were medium. They were not medium, but rather quite small. The mustard sauce was dreadful. The cook must have opened the French's yellow mustard and poured. He forgot how to make the sauce, I guess. Our waitress offered cocktail sauce instead. Oh, well. We were hoping the food had improved with the new owners. Apparently not. We won't be back more

The cove has a great atmosphere for water front dining. There is plenty of seating inside as well as outside. On Friday nights the Cove is the place to be from 4-7pm when they have buy one get one happy hour specials. There is good music playing and lots of people enjoying the kick off of the weekend. Expect big crowds on Friday nights. As far as food goes, I have not been overly impressed by anything. Usually I fall in love with something on the menu of each place I eat and always order it, I have yet to "love" anything from here. more

For a nice lunch or dinner.. can be just a nice place to eat or a cozy romantic place to share with your partner. The food is very good and so is service. more

The Cove: ~is open 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. ~accepts all major credit cards are accepted. They do not take personal checks. ~caters parties and delivers with a $10.00 minimum on delivery. One holiday I was visiting my mom. We placed an order several days in advance. It was delivered on time and exactly as ordered. ~is in a strip mall with a huge parking lot. Although they do a very good business I have never waited. There are a few tables outside and only a dozen tables inside so this is a small place. A lot of the business is take out. The dcor is among the most unusual I have seen. The wonderful posters that adorn the wall are just the beginning. The owners have a fantastic collection of Coca Cola items such as an old cash register that advertised Coca Cola. The preparation area is visible so you can watch as your food is being made. The restaurant is not dirty but it doesn't have that spotless feel to it. However I think part of that reason is that it is an old storefront and more

What a great restaurant to enjoy lunch while sitting on the intercoastal watching the boats go by! They have a great patio which is situated right on the intercoastal, great view! The food is o.k., but the prices are a bit high. Its a great restaurant to take guests to who are visiting from out of town. PROS: great atmosphere and view CONS: food isn't the greatest more
