Great Homemade Pies! 8/21/2005

Country Gentleman has fabulous homemade pies! I love the chocolate peanut butter. They always have a great selection of fresh, homemade pie. They also have an apple crisp dessert that is my husbands favorite. They are also known for their breakfast items. The portions are great and the food is not fancy but "down home good". Their soups are always a great choice. The one thing I would not recommend is their French dip. I have tried it twice and was disappointed both times. This is a very casual restaurant. more

Nothing special 8/7/2005

I had breakfast at The Country Gentleman and I can honestly say that I probably will not return. The food wasnt bad, but I wouldnt say it was good either. It was just "OK" to me. Personally, I'd rather just stay home and make my own meal that will probably taste better than go out and pay for one that I think is just so-so. I dont know, maybe their dinners are better? Maybe I will give them another chance and try eating dinner there. But I will not be back for breakfast. Their food was no better than places like Shari's or Denny's. more

Country Gentlemen 7/6/2005

Country Gentlemen is a restaurant that I have been to 3-4 times. From what I have tasted they have some of the best food in the whole Tri-Cities. They are smoke free whtich is a really nice plus for someone who has trouble eating with puffs of smoke around them. They are the perfect place if you want some good food and you are on a budget. more
