Eight times in the past 2 months I have been in this store looking for reptile supplies , each time I get told everything is sold out and is on order , yet the following week the same exact mechandise is in the store and no new stock has been added . For their Marshalls 7 lbs Ferret food they want $29.00 per bag yet every other pet store in 3 surrounding counties sells it for 19.97 - 21.00 , and when asked why such a price hike they stated they rent the store , yet Petco in Batavia is in a new building and pays more than twice the rent Country Critters does and has alot lower prices on the same exact products . This store is a joke and anyone who gives them business should have their head examined by a pyschologist . more

Went to purchase some supplies here noticed that they had close to 10 breeding age gerbils crammed in a 10 gallon aquarium. They also had a spoked wheel in the cage which is not appropriate for gerbils. One of the gerbils had a snapped tail that was well scabbed and was probably there at least a day. The employee there was unable to tell the males from females until i showed them...\r \r I left the store without making a purchase. more

I would beware. They will tell you that they never had any problems with the dogs they sell but ask around. Ask lots of questions and do your research. You will be very suprised at what you find out. My family and I never had any problems before up until we purchased two puppies from the same litter at there store. They both died and they were not even a year old. I also know many other people who have purchased dogs from there store and they have had many health problems! Seriously, beware. Key question, ask where they are getting there puppies from. The breeder they get most of there dogs from is walking a thin line. DO YOUR RESEARCH. more
