Counseling Associates of Cheshire has been helping area residents for more than 35 years. We offer psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults, as individuals, couples or families. We are an Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider but accept out-of-network patients. Director Reinhold W. Hekeler is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and has been a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1967. His expertise includes emotionally disturbed children, depression, gay and lesbian issues and family and couples therapy. He is a Professor Emeritus of Social Work at Southern Connecticut State University and co-authored "Stress Management in Human Services." Timothy Habegger also worked at SCSU, as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Social Work. Mr. Habegger is a licensed clinical social workers who has worked extensively in the field of addictions and developed anger management programs in numerous settings..
