Copy Service Inc

I really hope this place goes out of business soon. For people saying stuff about the "bookstore" thing, it's not. What it does is it buys back book that the company (textbooksnow.com or something) which Copy Service is doing business with. As a national company, of course it's not going to buy back NIU specific books. The point is shop around, all three book buyback places claim to have to have the best rates, just take an hour and go to each and see which is best.=========== On the rest: Pros and cons. Pros: --literally a 2 minute walk from dusable --decent self service rates (check with the clerk, because if you're doing bulk, it might be cheaper for them to do it, not to mention faster.) --a lot of resume paper choices --If you're moving they sell boxes of every shape and size and most of them are decently priced. ----- cons: --The manager is a penny-pinching tyrant paying his employees minimum wage with a scowl. --The rest of the office supply store is marked up beyond belief. --The employees don't care. Maybe some do, and some days are better than others, but they clearly do not like working there. --If you're looking to get copies and the off-site storage rental part is busy, be prepared to wait. Precedence is given to the storage, probably because your time is only worth a few bucks while a storage payment could be in the hundreds.======= In short: If you have a car, take the two minute drive and go to office depot by walmart. If not, then go here, it's fine. Don't make a habit of it, I would rather see this place be shut down. more

Terrible Liars!!! I went to sell my book at Copy Service that I bought at the University Bookstore and even though they claim to buy more books and offer better pricing then the two other stores on the campus, they refused to buy my book. I had them check the prices on a couple other books and then went to the other private store and not only did they buy my book (Custom NIU Edition) but they offered me over $50 more for the others combined!!! Copy Service also said that the custom editions for NIU weren't real books and that the other stores were selling them to rip off Students! Who is ripping off who when they buy less books and pay less money? Not happy! They shouldn't advertise falsities! more

Copy Service is a locally owned business providing a large inventory of office supplies and equipment. They are located near the NIU campus. They also have many quality copiers for self service use. They have the ability to lamenate large documents and maps. No job is too small. They also have color copiers. more
