Best Sports Bar.......Period 9/8/2005

I've been going to CopperSmith's since they opened in 1999 and they still have the best burgers on the west side. They recently converted the bar to all Flat Screens tv's....12 I think.....and it is by far the best place to watch a game in Hell's Kitchen. They play great music on Thursday nights and the crowd is a nice mix of people from the neighborhood as well as young professionals who work nearby in midtown. This is a great bar always with a nice crowd and nice workers. The food and music are also very very good. Love to go after work as well as on the weekends. Everyone should give it a try! more

Overall a great time 8/29/2005

Can be an after work place, or a great bar to watch the Sunday football game. Usually great deals, which is rare in this city. Overall a comfortable place with some great tunes. I have to admit, the music they play always gets the crowd going, especially on Thursday nights. Usually it's packed w/ some pretty people too. A definitely stop if you're on the West Side. more

This Is Where It's At!!!! 2/22/2005

Great time was had by all who attended a recent get together at Coppersmith's. A group of about 8 guys decided to meet at Copper's because we knew that they usually get a great Happy Hour crowd in there with friendly and out-going ladies. The music was lively and the atmosphere was pumped, everybody seemed to be having a great time. The bartenders were very polite and serviced our every need. The T.V's were great for viewing any college or pro game of your choice. There must have been 10 T.V's with a drop down ""Big Screen"" which was ideal for watching the North Carolina/Duke game. NYC's Hidden Treasure 1/13/2005

I hate writing reviews, but I was blown away over this place. I recently went there with a couple mates of mine visiting, and had one of the best nights I've had in NYC. Started off with a great burger, we gargled back a couple more pints, and the place took over from there. Music, staff, patrons, everything. A flat-mate of mine told me about this place, and he was wrong....it's better his description. I'll be back!! --Seameus more

Great NYC Bar 9/8/2004

I recently hosted a party at Coppersmiths and it was a complete success! The staff was friendly and helpful from the very first call to last call! They have great party deals, a great atmosphere with lots of TVs and lots of open space and excellent staff from the top down. Since the party, it has become a popular hangout for all that attended. I highly recommend this bar for hanging out, watching sports and especially for hosting parties. Pros: Great beer selection, Cool pub feel, Friendly staff more

New to NY 8/21/2004

I just moved to the city and was visiting the west side with some friends. We popped into Coppersmith's for a drink and I could not get over how inexpensive it was compared to other places over there. The food was excellent as was the service. The drinks are so reasonable!! The crowd was great!...and the music. They should call that place ""The Find"" because it really has it all together. We love going out on the west side now and go there a couple times a week. Pros: inexpensive, good crowd, friendly service more

The ambience is great! The bartenders are cool, friendly, down to earth and fun to hang around! The best thing about Coppersmiths are their buffalo wings. They have the best buffalo wings I have ever had in NYC! Pros: Inexpensive, Good food, Nice Crowd more

Always a fun time! The food is great and the staff is super nice. They play a great selection of music...and for all you sports fans, it's a great place to watch your fav team on a large screen. I've thrown parties here and we've always had a blast! Definitely check this place out! more

this place is a ton of fun, the waitresses are usually a blast and the specials they have early in the week are unbeatable. then again the cheap beers have a downside: there have been many nights i'm stumbling home drunk at 2AM when i have work the next morning. those next morning hangovers are a killer on the head but a big positive on the wallet when you realize those 18 beers cost you only $18 plus tip. more
