Dr. Cope is the best! 12/4/2012

Dr. Cope is the best OBGYN in the DFW area. She is a very caring an intelligent doctor. Women's Integrated Healthcare is a great place for women patients. Can't say enough about the great care I get from Dr. Angela Cope and staff. Highly recommend. more

Best OB/GYN in the state 11/8/2010

She really takes her time and I never feel like she is trying to get me out the door so she can see her next patient. She goes above and beyond! There is sometimes a wait, but I don't mind one bit. It's worth it to see her. more

long wait, but great doctor, nurse practitioner, and office staff 6/16/2010

Good: The checkout office staff was very friendly. Dr. Cope and her nurse practitioner (can't remember her name) always provide me with ample time for exam and to ask questions. Bad: The registration staff is not overly friendly (the ones you meet when you come in for an appointment). Improvements: A little less wait time would be great. I always spend at least two hours to get through my annual exam. I know it will never happen, but when will the doctors quit scheduling appointments 20 minutes apart, when that is not realistic?. Other: Dr. Cope, her nurse practitioner, and the check out people are extremely helpful. Dr. Cope and the NP have always provided me with enough time I need for the exam and to ask questions. Something needs to be done, though, about the wait time. It is way too long and very frustrating. My time is valuable too.. more

Great Doctor, Not so Great Office Staff 5/4/2010

Dr. Cope and her nurse practitioner are very good, both spend plenty of time and are very thorough. Unfortunately, the time in the waiting room to see Dr. Cope can go beyond two hours...have never waited less than an hour (which is why is see the nurse practitioner when I can). The office staff never tells you that there will be an extended wait nor are they very helpful when you've waited an hour and ask how much longer it will be. They're actually pretty rude when you ask. Virtually every time I'm there at least one person will leave before they've seen the doctor because they've waited so long. Other OBGYNs I've seen don't have long waits...would be worth Dr. Cope finding out how they do it and then implement that system in her office. And her office staff could use some customer service training too... more

DOCTOR 4/28/2009

Dr. Cope is just that a doctor. She does the best she can, the reason you wait is because we all want to see her. Dr. Cope helped me when other doctors failed. You have an option/choice to see the nurse practioner or wait for the doctor. If you were in labor would you not prefer Dr. Cope to be at the foot of the table delivering for you instead of a routine exam at her office. Let's get real here girls... Dr. Cope is a great doctor whom cares greatly about her patients, all of her patients, yes even you ms. nay sayer... more

Horrible 11/20/2008

Good: The practice says that she tries to deliver her own patients, but the fact is she hardly knows her own patiens! She never sees them anyway.. Improvements: I recommend to stay away from this doctor. I went to see another doctor by chance. I really loved her, so I do not think that I am too demanding as a patient.. more

Dr. Cope is the best 4/15/2008

I have had two children under her care, both somewhat complicated and although I have had to wait on occasion to see her, I am always told where she is and it is most often at the hospital delivering a baby. I had several weeks of bedrest in the hospital and Dr. Cope came by every day as did her associates and they always made time to stop and chat. Every single doctor in this practice is the absolute best at what they do and they truly care. Even the nurse practitioners are awesome. I would never think of going to anyone else but Dr. Cope unless it was one of the other ladies in this practice. They have always listed to my concerns and gone out of their way to put me at ease. An occasional wait is totally worth it to know that MY doctor will be there when I need her the most! more

She is Amazing! 11/19/2007

Dr. Cope has saved my life. She has always taken time to listen to my concerns. I have had to wait on occasion due to her need to deliver someone's child. I understand and appreciate the fact that she makes every effort to deliver her own patients. I wouldn't want a stranger to be at my delivery, I want the doctor who knows me! I love her staff. The new center is beautiful and has a lab and sonogram available. I love not having to go to different locations for my health care. She is fabulous, kind, funny, and a trustworthy. Don't listen to the others! I am very hard to please, and she has never let me down. more

Better Do As The Good Doctor Says Or Else....... 11/5/2007

Went to Cope for miscarriage - never saw her, only nursing staff, who, by the way, were great. This was my third miscarriage so I knew how things would go. I told staff that I did not want to continue coming in every day for blood draw to monitor hcG count. I knew how my body would process and wanted to let nature takes it course. Didn't seem to be an issue at the time. When I found out I was pregnant this last time, which by the way, resulted in a beautiful baby girl in January 2007, I again came to Dr. Cope because I had liked the staff. When I called for an appointment I was informed that I was not welcome in the practice because I had refused treatment. Guess I missed the part where we are supposed to be able to make our own medical decisions. At any rate, I guess you're fine at this office if you do what you're told. more

Excellent in Hospital but long delay in office 8/19/2007

Interestingly I agree with all the good and bad reviews of Dr. Cope. Part of the frustration for people, who go for office visits is that Cope keeps them waiting for too long and then just rushes through. I felt that this is because she spends a lot of time in hospital, and almost always tries to deliver the baby herself even when one of her partners is present in hospital on duty. That on and off rushing to hospital keeps her office patients waiting for long hours. I think her nurse and front staff could do a better job in handling the schedules. Dr. Cope is otherwise an excellent doctor who can handle very complicated pregnancies with a clear cut strategy. For me she worked very hard to help me through various illnesses, and without her I would have been put under the knife for a C-section, but she planned my delivery in a way that ultimately I was able to avoid it completely. I would happily go to her again, but her office really needs to do something for the extra long waits. more

I love Dr. Cope!!! 5/21/2007

I got lucky with Dr. Cope... I picked her name off a insurance list almost 8 years ago!!! I already had 2 children that had been delivered in CA... and came up pregnant with no one to go to!!! At first, I wasn't sure... she was a bit rushed. But, as time went by, and we discovered gestational diabetes, she took her time and was very attentive. She has delivered 2 of my 4 children. I often joke with my husband that should we ever move away, I'll be flying in to DFW once a year!!!! more

Horrible. 10/16/2006

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Cope because I had real concerns about my health and was really looking forward to the appointment to ease some of my anxiety. I'm not a hypochondriac; I rarely have health problems and know my body well. She was quite late for my appointment and I didn't see her until 40 minutes after my scheduled time, and I was the FIRST patient of the day. She came practically sprinting into the room, and conducted the fastest, least attentive breast, abdominal and pelvic exam I ever thought possible. I have a noticeable mass in my lower left abdomen which she entirely missed. I tried to squeak in a few questions but my concerns, I felt, were played down greatly and practically laughed off. She slapped me with a sample of birth control for symptoms I barely had the chance to explain and before I realized what was happening, she was gone. I didn't get the chance to explain my problem fully and she didn't bother to ask some pretty important questions about my health history. She didn't explain my prescription to me and did not return to my room again. She could not have spent more than 5 minutes in the room with me. That was my first and last appointment with Dr. Angela Cope. At least the front desk folks were nice... ? more

be sure to ask! 12/23/2005

Could be a great ob, but we'll never know! I made an appt in Grapevine, showed up early, and was told my appt was in another city! No-one told me there were 2 offices! Be sure and ask when you make your appts which office! I have since found out that Dr. Angela Cope is a great ob and gyn by the way, but as I said you need to find out which office you have your appointment at. The office is pleasant and inviting as far as doctors' offices go. Staff could be a bit friendlier. more
