I live in Seattle now, but I started having my hair cut at Compo Barber Shop fifty-one years ago (I was seven years old). My barber in those days was Mike. Mike passed away a few years later, and I started going to Tommy G, the shop's owner I just can't put into words what a great man Tommy is. Those periodic visits to Tommy were highlights of my adolescnce and early adulthood. I still regard him as a friend even though I have not been back to Westport in ten years. I know that if I walked in to his shoo today, he would drop everything and greet me! You cannot do better than Tommy G.
