Companion Pet Clinic

I was recently in the Phoenix area on business and had my new baby, Brooklyn, with me. She began vomiting the day after we arrived, which was a Saturday morning of all times. I had no way to reach my vet back in Boston and my associate recommended Companion. I brought Brooklyn in, not expecting much from a clinic who didn't have access to her records and who didn't see her regularly . I was amazed at the thorough care she received from Dr. Miyahira and his staff, who actually gave me his phone number in case she had any further issues following treatment. In my experience as a nurse, that kind of care and follow through is generally not experienced even by people in similar situations. Also, I would have to disagree with the review referring to Companion's staff as fake. I did not feel, at anytime, that anyone who assisted us was less than totally sincere and genuine in their concern for Brooklyn's wellbeing. more

I recently visited Companion Pet Clinic for the first time and was extremely happy with my experience. Veronica greeted me and my precious baby Lilly immediately. We were then shown into an exam room to await the doctor. Lilly and I were both a little nervous being in a new place and meeting our new vet. Dr. Miyahira came in and sat right down on the floor next to Lilly who jumped all over him and covered him with ""kisses"". It turned out that my baby had a broken toe which required splinting and bandaging. As our appointment was late on a Saturday and the clinic was closing, Dr. Miyahira gave me his cell phone number so I could reach him if I had any problems. I would definitely recommend this clinic and doctor to anyone! more

This clinic used to be great when Dr. Grossbard was there, but it is horrible now! Dr. Mangone seems to be all about making money by ordering unnecessary tests. Dr. Miyahira did not communicate well with me and I was unaware of a procedure they were doing on my pet! They would not provide me with my pet records when I requested them and even asked me to leave the clinic when I was shocked they would not make a xerox copy! In spite of the previous review, which read like a really illiterate person wrote it, I decided to visit Companion Pet Clinic and check it out for myself. Wow! The clinic was spotless and the front desk ladies were so friendly. Dr. Grossbard came out and I met him - my Boston loved everybody! The morning of her surgery (spay) came and everyone was great; called me when the surgery was done to let me know everything went fine. When I went to pick up our little girl, the vet tech. came out to go over her recovery and medication instructions with me, and did so in a very knowledgeable manner. I could tell that everyone in the office truly loves their patients, as 3 people came out with the tech when she brought our pet out to me, all of them sweet talking to her. Having worked in a veterinary hospital in the past, I am very particular about where I take my pets. I would certainly recommend Companion Pet Clinic to anyone who loves their smallest family members/pets! Pros: Very clean clini, professional and friendly office staff more

I would not reccomended him other than rouitne vaccination. His staff although is very ""fake smile"" does not know a thing about dispensing medication or anything else. Informations are given wrong. The ""Vet gives operations that are not needed. please find yourself somebody else if you love your dog. Pros: Close to my home, ample parking, next to supermarket Cons: Ignorance in abundance more
