Community Hospital

I only hope the new hospital is better. I don't know much about the hospital as a whole, I know the one time I was an outpatient everyone was awesome. But the emergency room was the worst I have ever experienced. Not one person I knew who had a serious issue ever came out alive. And the last time I used ER the nurse taking blood did not know her head from her...yeah that! She hit bone not vein and when I yelled to remove it she pushed harder. She never got blood out, my arm hurt for six months and they tried to make me pay for the blood test I never had. To top it off the doctor was an abuser. I had to dress and walk out without his release while another woman still stuck there was cussing him out. Looking back I wish I HAD sued! I even have all the witnesses. Stupid me! Wonder how many more suffered the hands of the abuser. I have his name. more

This place shouldn't even be called a Hospital. The nursing staff is so unqualified, rude, arrogant, and unprofessional, that I cringe when a family member is put in their care. The policies are just as childish as the personnel staff. It's like "let's put our head in the sand and maybe the situation will go away." I spent 3 hours in the ER...had and IV and a shot for pain and received a bill of over 15k. When Medicare and Medicaid were billed there was a balance and they continue to try and collect. They are just as crooked as Rick Scott...guess they learned their lessons well from that crook more

I delivered my second child in this location and I thought I was treated nicely. The maternity ward is very warm and inviting, or as warm as a hospital can be. The security system was one of the better ones I have seen. You have to be buzzed into the ward so it gives you comfort after just having had a baby. The regular part of the hospital is not as clean but I wasn't in there enough to comment. more
