The Emergency Department (ED) at Community Hospital Anderson is a 17-bed unit that provides 24-hour emergency care for serious and sudden illness and/or injury and trauma. Community Hospital Anderson is a verified Level III trauma center designated by the state of Indiana, meaning that we are equipped to handle serious traumatic injuries. Community Anderson is the only hospital in the county with all board-certified emergency physicians. The emergency department also provides Joint Commission recognized stroke care, neurosurgical and cardiac care to those in emergent situations.
