Today I stopped by common house for the first time for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Sharing a building with the Loco Lime restaurant, it's got a decent atmosphere and wasn't too crowded.
During the week they have a $7 lunch special which is pretty clutch. You get a soft drink/tea, choice of sandwich/salad/burger and a side dish. Plenty of food for the money. The quality of the food was surprisingly good and fresh tasting. I had the Rancher Chicken sandwich which was a good portion and seasoned well.
The bar area looks like it could be a good time when football season starts, the front dining room seemed a little odd though, not sure why; just seemed a little off to me.
Overall, the quality of food is pretty good for a pub style restaurant and the menu is rather large with plenty of choices for any appetite. Definitely will try it out again so I can taste a couple more items from the large menu.
