I have had a Rewards Checking Account for 9 months. All months but 3, I had had to call to get the interest corrected. Unfortunately, it took more than one person to correct the error due which was due to an employee error or new software. Commerce National Bank's initial paperwork did not state when the Awards Period was but that 12 debit transactions need to be made monthly. I assumed that this was from the first day of the month to the last day since it was not stated otherwise. Wrong! The Awards Period starts on the 2nd of each month so any debit transaction made on the first day do not apply for that month. This period is not stated on the web site either. The ONLY place to find it is if you download a statement. Not very up front in their Rewards Period. Beware!
