(Note: this review is for the 114th & Broadway location)\r \r A word of warning: avoid getting lenses here. You will regret it. The sales staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and they have a nice selection of frames, but I spent $600 on two pairs of glasses and I had to return both pairs five (yes, five) times due to major problems with the lenses. First the prescription was too strong, then they forgot to give me the thin frames I ordered, then they forgot to give me lenses with reflectionless coating. Finally, when the order was right, the lenses had deep scratches on them, so I had to return them yet again. I'm still unhappy with the quality of the lenses--there are spots in the glass and they look generally of very poor quality--but I'm afraid of what's going to go wrong with the next pair (plus, I'm sick of showing my face in there!). \r \r Buy frames here or get an eye exam with the pleasant staff, but get your lenses somewhere else: they don't know what they're doing. Awful, worst experience I ever had. The customer relations reguarding a problem were belittled and not treated with any disreguard for my well being. I hope this type of business practice is the demise of this company. I will forever steer clear of this place. Cons: everything more

My union has contacts as part of our optical benefits. I called the store before going, because I wanted to make sure they had a doctor available and they took my benefits, it turned out that they had a doctor and took my benefits. I set up an appointment for that day after work, I went in they did the exam and had me set up with the right lenses that day! Pros: Took my benefits and had my contacts more

I need to get eyeglasses in a hurry, I had a date and left my eyeglasses in my apartment, on the way I stopped in this Cohen's and the staff helped me out, the girl behind the counter helped me find the glasses that made me look my best and also glasses for a good price. They helped me make a good impression that day and I am grateful for it! more

They have a ""guaranteed"" lowest price, but it took about 30 mins for them to agree to match a price I had found on the internet. It takes a long to figure out what ""guaranteed lowest price"" means apparently.\r \r They have a sign that says open 10:00-6:00. Don't believe it. I was there at 10:00 to pick up my glasses and waited 1/2 an hour before leaving in frustration. I called and without explanation, they said ""oh, we decided to open at 11 today""\r \r Cheap prices, but you get what you pay for. more
