Invited new residents to experience the friendly atmosphere and fresh food of Cody's. To our great disappoinment we were treated like uninvited guest.\r
Placed in a side room with only one other table occupied. It was a large table, with small children and noisy adults and kids running around. We were seated right next to them with the rest of the room empty..why were we seated there and not several tables away. The\r
staff was in a hurry to break down the tables and sweep the peanut shells off the floor. The staff threw the chairs to one another crashing and banging them in place. where were we in a bowling ally? Then they proceeded to sweep with such gusto that the dirt, dust was flying everwhere. It was dreadful to have to smell and endure the dust. We asked if they could stop sweeping until we finished our dinner, they stopped for 5 minutes and then continue the mad sweeping. So much for a relaxing dinner. Then the food order, they were out of several items that were on the blackboard (if so, why not take it off the blackboard when they no longer had that item. ) The garlic mashed potato had little or no garlic and was a big glob of glue. not fluffy or light but very thick and sticky..Garden salad looked like leftovers with very little color or ingredients. A smidgeon of a tomato. I would not feed to the pigs. All in all a very horrid experience and very disappointed for myself and my friends. what happen that this restaurant is going down hill very fast and if not changed, I will not be going there again. Please pay attention to the customers comforts, fresh food and respect. It was early and not near closing time, so it should not have been so dreadful. Hopefully the manager will pay more attention to these details and not lets hurry up and clean up and close while there are still customers trying to enjoy their food.
