Favorite Italian 8/22/2008

Love this place, one of my favorites in Uptown Charlotte. You can tell everything is freshly made, and the ambiance is wonderful... great people watching in Center City. I have been to the sister restaurant in Birkdale, and have to agree that it can't hold up to this one. Pros: Great food, would be a great date spot Cons: parking, because there is none more

Dont bring your appetite! 1/1/2008

Nice atmosphere and the quality of food is pretty decent. However, the quantity of food is similar here to the other locations (il posto osteria and positano osteria). Itailan food isn't typically expensive to make and this place will definitely ""profit"" from your business. My wife and I recently dined with this restaurant and the owner's new location (positano in Birkdale) and upon completion of our $100 dollar meal, we were still hungry and found ourselves preparing something later that evening at home.
