I must say I'm a student of Cobb beauty college. I am extremely happy attending there. The instructors are amazing and the school is very understanding. I have learned so much since I have been there and wouldn't trade my experience for anything. more

I am currently enrolled at Cobb Beauty College and it has been a great learning experience. We have fun while learning. There is always something new going on and I feel like upon graduation I will be prepared to go into any salon and work. \r As to the previous person on here I was enrolled at the same time as her. She was always negative on every thing we did. You need to look at the source before you take what she has said to heart. She is a very unhappy person maybe you should google pit prints or archives on fox 5 news from March 2010 for the real story and find out the real bitterness behind her. CBC has not scammed her she is the scammer.\r CBC has standards and will not put up with lying, cheating, cursing, stealing, drugs or bad language. The high standards of CBC is part of what makes it a great place to be. I've read many reviews on CBC from employees, students, and clients; some happy, some disgruntled. I want to be as clear as possible that I am upset with CBC on a professional level, but with that said, my review is not to get back at CBC, but to inform potential students of what they can realistically expect if they enroll at CBC. I have limited experience with CBC from the client level, but that experience is also shared; the depth of my experience with CBC is as a student, in which case I can offer enlightenment to prospective students who have been referred to this school for the cheap price, or the "ethical standards" this school claims to have.\r \r My first experience with Cobb was with my niece, who was quoted a price before services, but then the price was jacked up the moment her hair was touched, without consulting with her mother for an increased price for the services. Just reading the reviews,It just goes to show you someone must have not gotten there way as a student or employee. Some just do not no how to be ethical. or want to be. I have been in this business for 26 years. Owned 2 Salon Co-op for Shelton State College and hold several degrees. I have been with CBC for 1 year now.And believe in the standards that is set forth by this Institution in there rules and regulations. And the value that the staff sets forth to give each individual a solid and valued education. Some do not except these standard and do not look for the quality for there career. We have very successful Salon owner that are continually calling and asking for referral from the school for new employee such as our outstanding students. This school not only wants a student to pass the State Testing but they want every student to have a career that helps them get the job, that they can be proud of in the big dollar range. If education and customer service matters to you, do not go to Cobb Beauty College. I would send no one here because of the owners rude attitude and unethical practices. I just wish they would be put out of business.. If you love being treated poorly and scammed out of your tuition money, this place will be right up you alley.. If you cannot stand being used and taken advantage of I suggest you , stay away. The prices may be cheap for clients, but are very costly for students in the long run. They make promises they don't deliver this place couldn't have worse service. What I really hate about this place is they have been running this business this way for more than 25 years.(it's all in the contract). I called to make an appt thru relay for deaf and they took care of it. I had my hair perm lowest price than at salon and the perm came out good, much better than at salon! :>) I will go back and will tell others to go there.
