GREAT Place to bring friends and family!! 6/20/2009

This is the kind of place you would take your friends and your family to!! You can go eat and drink and have everything served to you with a SMILE!! I HAVE NEVER had a bad experience here! We even had the 'Noles fan' wait our table!! He is a riot !! My husband is a disabled Marine and this server is entering the Airforce, so they banter back in forth! Don't knock him cause he's a noles fan, he's a minority here, the majority of the patronage are GATOR fans, so they are very GO GATORS!! And they all banter in FUN! Sorry others had difficulty either with their hearing or lacking a sense of humor, but this kid has been awesome to us as well as those we bring in. Even after 6 months, we still look forward to going to clubhouse and we are always bringing in new friends. Pros: COLD Beer and GARLIC Wings!! YUM!!!! Cons: Love this place!! No bad reviews here!! more

Worst Waiter 12/28/2008

I go to The Clubhouse quite frequently. As of late though, one server in particular has become extremely rude, and I'm not the only person who thinks so. If you are a regular, you probably have noticed this, he has been slacking when it comes to people that are there regularly. Not only that, but when it comes to Football, 'the Seminoles are the team and no one else has a chance' Which is fine! But you do NOT need to broadcast it. I have also witnessed him using profanity on the job which is preposterous! On the contrary, the food and all the other wait staff are amazing and are worth going to the Clubhouse for. The owners are great people and it's a great place to bring the kids. Pros: Great Food, Great people to be around, Lots of Fun Cons: One bad waiter more

Not a Gator bar? Are u kidding 12/17/2008

It's really too bad that you had THAT waiter. I can guess who the waiter was....I am sure he was "KIDDING"! It may interest you to know, the owners are die hard GATOR fans and the bar is blasting with GATOR war songs on GATOR game day. As a University of Kentucky fan (GO BIG BLUE!), trust me.....the majority of patrons are GATORS! They banter with their patrons who are rooting for other teams, but it's all in fun! GO SEC! more

The clubhouse sports cafe. 12/16/2008

the clubhouse is the place to go.You go out to restaurants to have a nice dinner but this is the place to go when you want to hang out and have a great time. Its a place where your kids go to play the games and adults have a few themselves bowling and the bartop game.the food at the clubhouse is getting to be top notch they are trying to find the best quality and favorite taste. come in with a good attitude a sense of humor and a stomach for food and beer and you are gurenteed to have a good time Pros: the atmosphere and hospitality Cons: needs to get more seating more

Major Gator Bar! 12/15/2008

Just wanted to say that the Clubhouse Sports Cafe is a major hot-spot for viewing Gator games. They've got two 10 foot wide high definition projection systems that are totally awesome for watching sports. When I went for the Florida State game, they were playing the Gator Fight Song and everything. The irony though is that everyone was so cool and friendly. The servers were top notch. Always had a smile on their face. I felt a great vibe just being in the crowd. The food and beer was tasty and cold! They have a retro-style gameroom in the back that is totally safe for the kids and has some classic machines and those stuffed animal cranes. I would say this was the funnest true sports bar I've been to in a while, but it definitly has a tight community feel to it. Kinda like Cheers ......... Pros: Unbelievable Sports Viewing Experience Cons: Needs more chairs more

Terrible customer service 8/19/2008

I happen to be sitting there after placing my order when one of the waiters came by and said "Are you happy?" and I said yes and I being a disabled vet with limited hearing did not understand what he said afterwards as he walked off. Later as he came around I motioned for him to come over and found out that his problem with me was that I was wearing a Forida Gator Cap. He said something about the Seminoles were the way to go or something to that effect. I asked if it was ok if I wore my gator cap in there and he said yes but he would not talk to me if I did! So I assume if i was at his station I would not get waited on so obviously I will not go there again! Its really a shame as the waiter who waited on us was very polite and the food was good but if they don;t want Florida Gator supporters to go there the should put up a sign! Pros: lots of pros: good food......good parking...etc... Cons: I have already stated it was made clear that Florida Gator supporters are not welcome there. more

Iwas surprise at the size of the wings & how clean & friendly the place was. I was very pleased that the service was all about me. The kid's room in the back area so they couldn't possibly go outside was a great ideal! I will so much go back on Tuesday for kid's free night they loved the mac & cheese more

OUR Clubhouse 10/16/2005

We love this place. Good food. Sports. Arcade for the kids. And Denver. How much more could you ask for? Pros: Resonably priced, No wait more

  • The Scene
This place gets packed for Bucs games. It was also packed for an NBA playoff game when we went. Come to think of it, this place is almost always buzzing since there's little competition in the area. Two large screens sit on opposite ends of the dining area and a dozen or so televisions are spread throughout the bar filling in the gaps. The nice thing about this place is that during football season, all the televisions are appropriately labeled with the upcoming games so you know where to sit to watch your favorite team. In the back, there's a few video games to keep the kids busy. The Food
The menu has undergone a few improvements since opening in the late 1990's. You can get regular sports bar fare, but we recommend the sandwiches. And if you order a caesar salad, watch out for the tomatoes.
