best time ever 9/9/2009

When i met my girlfriend i never did this kind of thing, going out of town i should say leaving Thornton colorado for one night of romance and having the best time ever. You do not have to go to a 100 0r 200 dollar night hotel to find the spark is still there or learning that you still have no matter what. Try it you will no be disappointed Pros: best time alone with girlfriend Cons: we left the next day more

The Perfect Place for Romance 2/20/2008

My husband and I stayed in a cottage and absolutely loved the experience. The previous reviews are so wrong!!! The cottages are quaint and have old, antique style decor. There are journals from the past years with memories the guests have had there. It is so much fun to read them (some date years and years back), and then write your own. The Inn Keeper has VHS movies for you to borrow, or you can just relax in the hot tub. The point of the experience is that it is simple, unique, and relaxing. The person who said they travel often must normally stay in places with no personality like the Holiday Inn. Pros: Romantic and very Unique Cons: more expensive than your regular hotel more

Close to Red Rocks but that's about it . . . 6/10/2007

What to say about the Cliff House Lodge. I will start off by saying the new Innkeeper is extremely nice and accomodating and that the property was close to Red Rocks. That's where it ends. The Cliff House Lodge is a series of tiny cottages each with a fenced-in, ""private"" courtyard with a jacuzzi tub. The cottages were old and very much in need of updating. Every available space on the wall either had some strange photo, painting or a shelf containing nicknacks that looked like something people would have passed up at a yard sale for $0.10. And we all know with clutter comes dust. The bathroom had a slatted, folding door that offered little or no privacy and the shower was a clear stall placed practically in the middle of the room. As a somewhat frequent traveler for both business & pleasure, this was absolutely unexceptable. We paid for 3 nights but only stayed one. Unfortunately, we were charged for all 3 as our Visa card was debited the day we booked several months prior (be sure to see cancellation policy) Pros: The Inn Keeper Cons: Everything else more
