Consign your furniture here 4/8/2006

We have consigned furniture to the Clearing House and got good money for it. It was way easier than putting an ad in the paper and having to deal with phone calls and appointments to see the stuff, and far preferable to selling it on Ebay and having to deal with shipping. The shop does all the work for you and they are friendly and helpful when discussing what prices to set. The shop is full of things to buy if you are more into acquiring than divesting of stuff. They are closed for a few weeks each August. more

Huge consignment shop, quality stuff 3/25/2006

This consignment shop is a favorite with local designers and their clients. The shop has a lot of very nice furniture in excellent condition plus lots of crystal, china, pottery, glassware and housewares and decorative items. You could easily furnish an entire house here, or close to it. Turnover is quick so come back often. Prices may start high but they drop them 10% each month if the item doesn't sell, so sometimes you can snag some bargains if you're patient. Visit the clearance room, too! more
