I am not sure if we here in jeanerette have a choice on who provides our water and sewerage. If we did, and i am looking into it. I would not be with city of jeanerette. I have been calling this office for 24hr's now trying to get a meter guy to come out and check my water. My whole fromt sidewalk is flooded out and I can't turn the water off. I have repeatedly called and asked for help. still no one comes. I was also told there is no after hour number or beeper to contact in case of this happening again.... This angers me that I am not even remebered each time i call. After calling the same place about 30 times you'd think they would at least remeber the problem.. But nothing. each time i am asked for my name, number and problem. then i am told it will be handed down to the meter guy... He hasn't been in all day... How can he have a job if he dont go to the office to pick up work orders? So front is all flooded and water just a running, I am not looking forward to the next water bill. Which they will stick to me.....So there ya go you asked for my honest experince and you got it.... Would i tell someone to use city of jeanerette if they had a choice, NO.....
