A Vegas Wedding 9/12/2006

I didn't get married in Vegas. But, a couple of my nieces did. One niece got married at the Circus Circus Chapel. The little chapel in the hotel was charming. But, not so great waiting room for the bride. Not sure about the groom. I was maid of honor, and there were three of us crammed in a TINY. This is the kind you would see in a clothing store. A tiny fitting room. It was hot, crammed and we were clausterphobic by the time we had to go walk down the isle. My niece couldn't keep her make up dry because they had no air back there, and we were squished. There were wires present stringing across the floor all over. That was not very nice looking. Not a good experience. My other niece got married at Medieval Times and it was beautiful. They got married in renaissance costume to match the chapel, and it was beautiful. They loved the treatment the received and the expense wasn't too bad. The chapel was really pretty and made you feel like you went back in time. The dressing room was good sized and it even had AC! Hehe my niece said she really loved the services that they provided. The costumes, Music and everything. It was a beautiful wedding. more

Clowin' 'Round in Vegas 4/12/2006

Circus Circus Las Vegas seems to be the main kid attaction in Vegas. It has a huge theme park inside a dome behind the casino. The theme park has a double corkscrew, double helix twist roller coaster and I believe it is the only indoor theme park in the country, if not the world. When I was younger, me and brother spent an entire day in the dome with our all-day passes. The best part is, during the week there are NO LINES. That's right, there is NO WAITING TIME to ride the rides. more

Just Not for Us 4/9/2006

This may be an ok place for families, but if your going to getaway and want to truly experience Vegas, there are better places to stay. Service was fine, rooms were clean, and price was low. However, it takes a while to get anywhere by foot from here so you may be making up for the money saved on the room in transportation fees. In fact, it takes awhile to get to your room from the stip too. The place is very congested and packed. This is definetely a family place, there were children everywhere here, which may be ok for some people. This just is really not a place we really enjoyed. The hotel is nothing special, rooms are very standard. Checking out was a bit crazy for us here, there were very long lines and it took quite awhile. more

A hotel for kids 4/6/2006

So when you go to Las Vegas, it is hard to find some kid-friendly activities. So Circus Circus is a great place to stay because your kids will be sure to have a great time. On the mail floor of the hotel, there is a huge interactive play place for kids. They have lots of different games and you can win prizes for many of the games. It is an affordable place and kids can spend hours here. The rooms themselves are okay - I thought the one we stayed at could have used some major renovations. But it is worth that because your kids will have a great time here. more

Circus Circus, Las Vegas NV 4/1/2006

While billed as a family hotel, I had some problems with this one. It was very busy the weekend we stayed in February. The lobby and restaurant areas always seemed so congested, chaotic and noisy. It took forever to walk from one location to another on the first floor where the shops, restaurants and casino were. The entrance into the hotel at the lobby is through a covered parking area; so you can roam all over on the first level and never see outside. This was disconcerting. Once up in our room, things were more comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the city on the 26th floor, lots of room for a roll-away (needed to sleep 5), and a good-sized bathroom. There was no noise up there either. The indoor amusement park is really no more than the midway and rides at our County Fair each summer. If you are used to Cedar Point or Disney, this will not impress you. Next time I will try a hotel that caters to the over 60 crowd. more

Great Family Fun In Las Vegas 3/11/2006

There's not many Casinos where you can have family fun. Most Casinos are adult oriented, but Circus Circus is more of family fun. They have something called an "Adventuredome" that has a themepark for kids. There is a lot of rides and a cool rollercoaster, and you can buy a day pass to ride all the rides. Some of the rides can be ridden by adults too. There's also a separate Midway with a bunch of arcades and Midway games to win prizes. Oh yeah, there's also a casino for the adults in which they can gamble in. Also, when your hungry, you can eat in the all you can eat buffet and get stuffed (at a good price too, around 10 bucks). When you get tired, you can sleep in one of the thousand hotel rooms the casino has to offer. If you ever go to Vegas, you need to stop by Circus Cirus. more

Circus Circus 10/29/2005

Circus Circus is one of many hotels that is located in Las Vegas. At this hotel, there is an adventure dome (theme park) which is good for children. Therefore, I would recommend this place for family with children. All family can have fun and enjoy their vacation at the same time. more
