A 3 hour tour would have been fun if I wound up on Gilligan's Island .. but no ... this was a boat ride around Manhattan at a snails pace. Going at a snails pace made the trip so...

Where else can a family get together for an inexpensive and relaxing way to see and learn all about NYC--Circle Line. The tour guides are professors of the Big Apple. Coolest ride in town 7/19/2002

I live in the city and just took my visiting family on this ride - it is AMAZING. We did the 3 hour tour all the way around the island. the tour guides are experts and you learn so much about the city, the landmarks,and the history. Truly worth the money! more

Great 2 hour cruise 7/6/2002

Took the 2 hr cruise around lower Manhatten. The tour Guide was very informitive. Learned alot more than I will ever remember about the city. Amazing views and Lady Liberty looked as grand as always. Pros: Safety, Tour guide, views more

A classic afternoon 6/27/2002

You shouldn't come to NYC or live in NYC if you haven't taken a ride on the Circle Line! Though the view of the towers used to be a really big highlight our skyline still has alot of offer. Getting out of the rat race and cruising around the city on the ship is easily one of the quickest fixes for relaxation that I can think of. Stunning views 5/14/2002

If you're stuck showing visitors around the city, and you don't feel like exerting much effort, the Circle Line is absolutely your best bet. The views are spectacular (the city really does look magical from the water). All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the three-hour ride. Let the tour guide do the talking. Best done in the spring or summer, when the breezes off the water are refreshing not frigid. more
