never going to cinelli's again 7/14/2009

family and I went over weekend. Not only do they charge $2.50 for drinks (even kids drinks), they charged me for a $6 salad when I asked for a $3 side salad!! didn't see receipt until today (husband paid). I called to mention the error. manager was very, very rude. never ever going again!!!!!! more

OK food, RUDE manager 2/9/2009

They have ok food but the manager is very very rude! His staff "never" make mistakes, and when they do, its the customers fault! He seems to be mad at the world and couldn't care if you eat his food or not! The 1st time I thought he was having a "bad day". The second time, it was obvious, he is a JERK! more

Cinelli's for a whole pizza 10/25/2006

In New York if someone asks where to go for pizza the answer is invariably, "Slice or Pie?" Cinellie's is my pick for (pizza) pie. Our favorite is called Grandma's. It's super thin crust with tomatos, basil and fresh cheese. Simple perfection. Note: We tried dinner here since they are a restaurant not just a pizzaria, and all the Italian pasta dishses were very uninspired and not worth the price. I'd go here for pizza, but stay away from the overpriced pasta! For the best Italian food, try Panzanella in Carrboro's Carr Mill Mall behind Weaver Street Market. more

Best Pizza in Durham! 4/11/2006

Cinelli's has, by far, the best pizza in Durham. Sure, it's expensive, but I think this falls under the "you get what you pay for" category. The spices are great; the sauce is tasty but not overwhelming. The veggies are always fresh. The grandma pizza is my favorite, but they are all good. We've also had non-pizza dinners here and it's pretty good as well. Can't go wrong with Cinellis. more

Good food 7/31/2005

The food at Cinelli's is great. The atmosphere is cute as well. They offer carry out pizza, which I recommend over any other pizza restaurant in the neighborhood. The price is nice as well! more
